BSNLEU has already demanded review of the result of the JE LICE held on 18.12.2022, in respect of Shri Mothi Lal, Motor Driver, Telangana circle, who belongs to ST category. Since the Management has not taken any action on this, once again BSNLEU has written letter to the GM(Rectt.) today, demanding to take early action on this issue.

The JAO LICE (40% quota) held in Himachal Pradesh in the year 2016, has been conducted without carrying forward 2 unfilled vacancies in SC category. As a result of this, 2 SC candidates have lost their opportunity to become JAO. BSNLEU has already taken up this with the GM(Pers.), BSNL CO. Since no action has been taken on this issue, BSNLEU has once again written letter to the GM(Pers.) BSNL CO., today, requesting to take expeditious action.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes has issued notification on 24.05.2023, vide which the maximum amount receivable by employees, by way of Leave Encashment at the time of retirement, has been revised as Rs.25 lakh. A copy of the order is enclosed for information of all.

The Joint Forum of the Non-Executive Unions and Associations has given call to organise Human Chain, March to Raj Bhawan and Delhi Chalo programmes. In this connection, the Joint Forum has written letter to the Pensioners Associations, seeking their support and solidarity for the agitational programmes. Responding to this appeal, Com.Prahlad Rai, General Secretary, All India Retired BSNL Executives’ Welfare Association (AIRBSNLEWA) and Com.K.G. Jayaraj, General Secretary, All India BSNL DoT Pensioners Association (AIBDPA), have written letters to the CMD BSNL, expressing their support for the Joint Forum’s agitations and also demanding the Management to negotiate and settle the issues.

The Corporate Office has issued notification for holding the JTO LICE (50% quota for the VY-2022). As per this letter, only 4 vacancies (OC-2 ; SC-1 ; ST-1) are available in Rajasthan circle. Whereas, this figure is disputed by the Circle Secretary, SNATTA, Rajasthan circle. According to him, the vacancies available in Rajasthan circle are 31.5 (63/2). This issue is taken up by the CHQ of BSNLEU, which has written letter to the PGM(Estt.), demanding for necessary action. On 23.05.2023, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM(Estt.).
