Encashment amount of leave, at the time of retirement, revised as Rs.25 lakh.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes has issued notification on 24.05.2023, vide which the maximum amount receivable by employees, by way of Leave Encashment at the time of retirement, has been revised as Rs.25 lakh. A copy of the order is enclosed for information of all.
