The NE-II Circle Committee meeting held at Imphal on 10th January, 2026, decided to organise tour programmes at BA level as part of the campaign for the 12th February General Strike. After returning from the CEC meeting, the Circle Secretary discussed the programme with the District Secretaries of Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland. It has been reported that the district union organised campaign programmes at the GM Office, Nagaland on 9th February 2026 and in Arunachal Pradesh on 6th February 2026. CHQ conveys warm greetings to the Circle Secretary of NE-II Circle and the District Secretaries of Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh BA.

Kerala Circle Union is actively carrying forward the campaign for the countrywide General Strike on 12th February, with programmes progressing in full swing. Along with CHQ posters and pamphlets, the circle union has printed 500 posters and 2,000 pamphlets in the local language and distributed them to district unions. The coordination committee comprising BSNLEU, AIBDPA and CCLU is organising conventions at BA/OA level, with active participation from regular employees, pensioners and contract workers. The demands of BSNL employees and pensioners are being highlighted, and Kerala Circle is committed to making the strike historic, continuing its strong tradition.

Massive campaign programmes for the countrywide General Strike on 12th February are being organised by the West Bengal and Kolkata Telephones circle unions across all BAs and OAs. The circle leadership, including Com. Sisir Roy (Vice President, CHQ), Com. Sujoy Sarkar (CS, West Bengal), Com. Sankar Nepal (CS, Kolkata Telephones), Com. Omprakash Singh (AGS, AIBDPA), Com. Sanjeev Banerjee (AGS, AIBDPA), Com. Tapas Ghosh (CS, BSNLCMU), Com. Pradipta Ghosh (CS, CTTMU), and other leaders, are addressing meetings in various BAs and OAs. A good number of regular employees, pensioners, and casual contract workers have attended these meetings, ensuring strong momentum for the strike in the state. Campaign meetings have been organised in important districts and towns such as Alipore, Territee Bazar, Ballygange, Asansol, Siliguri, Malda, Bankura, Durgapur, Bardhaman, Jalpaiguri, and others. Key issues highlighted during the meetings include the anti-worker labour codes, 3rd PRC, attacks on PSUs, the affordability clause, retrenchment of contract workers, and DA arrears for casual labourers. Circle and district union leaders elaborated on these issues and called upon all workers to make the strike historic.

Strike campaign programmes are being organised in most of the BAs in the Madhya Pradesh circle. Reports received from the Circle Secretary indicate that campaign meetings have been successfully conducted at Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Gwalior, Itarsi, Satna, Indore, Telecom Factory, and other places. Along with retired and contract workers, a large number of regular employees attended the meetings, where circle and district leaders explained the importance of the strike and appealed for wholehearted participation. Com. K.S. Thakur (AIBDPA), Com. B. Raghuwanshi (CS, MP Circle), Com. D. Patel (DS, Narsinghpur), Com. Lakhan Patel (Secretary, BSNLCC), Com. Karan Solanki (DS, Indore), Com. L.N. Tiwari (DS, Telecom Factory), Com. U.S. Chauhan (DS, Gwalior), Com. R. Arjariya (DS, Jabalpur), and others addressed the gatherings and elaborated on the charter of demands of the strike. In line with the decisions of the Mangaluru CEC meeting, the MP Circle Union has organised a series of effective campaign programmes across the circle. CHQ conveys red salute to all the comrades and leaders who have successfully organised these programmes.

केंद्रीय बजट में फंड अलॉट किया गया — फिर भी बीएसएनएल का खराब प्रदर्शन जारी है।

केंद्र सरकार ने मौजूदा बजट में बीएसएनएल के लिए एक बार फिर फंड अलॉट किया है, और अलग-अलग रिवाइवल पैकेज के तहत फाइनेंशियल मदद देने की अपनी हाल की प्रैक्टिस को जारी रखा है। हालांकि, बार-बार सरकारी पैसा लगाने के बावजूद, बीएसएनएल का कुल प्रदर्शन और विस्तार संतोषजनक नहीं है। गंभीर सवाल यह है : भारी फाइनेंशियल मदद मिलने के बाद भी बीएसएनएल की हालत क्यों नहीं सुधर रही है ? कस्टमर बेस लगभग 9.5 करोड़ पर स्थिर है, और टेलीडेंसिटी में कोई खास प्रगति नहीं हुई है। यह साफ तौर पर गंभीर पॉलिसी और मैनेजमेंट की नाकामियों को दिखाता है। बीएसएनएल के मालिक के तौर पर केंद्र सरकार को संसद में जवाब देना चाहिए : इस स्थिति के लिए कौन ज़िम्मेदार है, कौन सी पॉलिसी दिशा अपनाई जा रही है, और बीएसएनएल के असली रिवाइवल और टिकाऊ ग्रोथ के लिए क्या ठोस रोडमैप है? BSNLEU बीएसएनएल को मज़बूत करने और पब्लिक इन्वेस्टमेंट की सुरक्षा के लिए जवाबदेही, पारदर्शिता और एक साफ भविष्य की रणनीति की मांग करता है।
