The CHQ of BSNLEU has already informed that, the BSNL Management has proposed to increase the recognition period of unions from 3 years to 4 years. It is important to note that, the Recognition Rules 2012 has been introduced by the Management, after making elaborate consultations with all the application unions of the Non-Executives. However, now, the Management has only sought the views of BSNLEU and NFTE to increase the recognition period from 3 years to 4 years, by amending the Recognition Rules 2012. This is not the correct approach. Hence, BSNLEU has written letter to the PGM(SR) today, demanding to seek the views of all the applicant unions, before proceeding to make any amendment to the Recognition Rules 2012.

An emergent meeting of the Central Executive Committee of BSNLEU will be held online on 01.09.2023. Among other things, the meeting will discuss and decide about the proposal of the Management to hold the Membership Verification once in 4 years. The meeting will start at 10:00 am and will continue up to 05:00 pm. Com.Animesh Mitra, President, will preside over this meeting. All Circle Secretaries and Central Office bearers are requested to join the meeting on time. The link for this online meeting will be sent to the CEC members by WhatsApp on 31.08.2023.  

बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन ने 4 साल में एक बार सदस्यता सत्यापन - मेम्बरशिप वेरिफिकेशन आयोजित करने का प्रस्ताव रखा है। 

बीएसएनएल में ट्रेड यूनियन मान्यता प्रदान करने के लिए 3 वर्षों में एक बार सदस्यता सत्यापन आयोजित किया जा रहा है। इस परिस्थिति में, बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने कल BSNLEU के महासचिव और एनएफटीई बीएसएनएल के महासचिव को एक पत्र जारी किया है, जिसमें उन्होंने 4 साल में एक बार सदस्यता सत्यापन आयोजित करने के नियमों में संशोधन करने का प्रस्ताव दिया है। पत्र की प्रति इसके साथ संलग्न है। सर्कल सचिवों और सीएचक्यू पदाधिकारियों से अनुरोध है कि वे पत्र का अध्ययन करें और इस मामले पर सीएचक्यू को तुरंत अपने विचार बताएं।

In BSNL, Membership Verification is being conducted once in 3 years, for the granting of trade union recognition. Under this circumstance, the BSNL Corporate Office has issued a letter to the General Secretary of BSNLEU and General Secretary of NFTE BSNL yesterday, wherein they have proposed to amend the rules for holding the Membership Verification once in 4 years. Copy of the letter is enclosed herewith. Circle Secretaries and CHQ Office bearers are requested to go through the letter and to convey their views to the CHQ on this matter immediately.
