केरल सर्कल में बीए-लेवल कन्वेंशन शुरू

केरल सर्कल में बीए-लेवल कन्वेंशन 16 दिसंबर, 2025 को आयोजित कोझिकोड जिला सम्मेलन के साथ शुरू हुआ, जिसमें बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों, पेंशनभोगियों और ठेका कर्मचारियों ने बड़ी संख्या में भाग लिया। यह एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर था क्योंकि कोझिकोड में बीए-लेवल कन्वेंशन में BSNLEU ( सीएचक्यू ) के अध्यक्ष और महासचिव मौजूद थे। सुबह के सत्र में नियमित कर्मचारियों, पेंशनभोगियों और ठेका कर्मचारियों की एक खचाखच भरी बैठक हुई। सम्मेलन की अध्यक्षता साथी  के. सुनीलकुमार, जिला अध्यक्ष ने की और इसका उद्घाटन साथी  अनिमेष मित्रा, महासचिव, BSNLEU ने किया। अपने उद्घाटन भाषण में साथी  अनिमेष मित्रा ने केंद्र सरकार की जन-विरोधी नीतियों की कड़ी आलोचना की और श्रम संहिताओं के लागू होने के प्रतिकूल प्रभाव के बारे में बताया। उन्होंने वेतन संशोधन समझौते, 4G/5G रोलआउट, सेवा की गुणवत्ता और बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों से संबंधित विभिन्न कर्मचारी मामलों जैसे प्रमुख मुद्दों पर भी विस्तार से बताया। सम्मेलन को साथी  एम. विजयकुमार, अध्यक्ष (सीएचक्यू) और सीएस, BSNLEU, केरल सर्कल, साथी  पी. डी. सत्यन (AIBDPA), साथी  सी. पी. मानस (SNEA), साथी  नैन्सी परममल (NFPE), साथी  जिथिन प्रकाश (NFPE–RMS), साथी  के. विजेश (SEWA BSNL), साथी  सी. के. विजयन (CCLU), साथी  यू. आर. रंजीत, सर्कल सहायक सचिव, BSNLEU और साथी  के. रेखा, सर्कल महिला संयोजक ने भी संबोधित किया। साथी  पी.पी. संतोषकुमार, जिला सचिव ने सभा का स्वागत किया और साथी  पी. मनोजकुमार, सर्कल सहायक सचिव ने धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव दिया।

खाली पदों की कमी के कारण एलआईसीई में शामिल होने से वंचित योग्य उम्मीदवार – BSNLEU ने BSNL के डायरेक्टर (एचआर) को पत्र लिखा।

BSNLEU (सीएचक्यू) ने बीएसएनएल के डायरेक्टर (एचआर) को बताया है कि जेई, जेटीओ और टीटी कैडर में पर्याप्त खाली पदों की कमी के कारण बड़ी संख्या में योग्य कर्मचारियों को लिमिटेड इंटरनल कॉम्पिटिटिव एग्जामिनेशन (एलआईसीई) में शामिल होने से वंचित किया जा रहा है। यह देखा गया है कि पिछले कुछ सालों में खाली पदों की संख्या में काफी कमी आई है, खासकर VRS-2019 के बाद बड़ी संख्या में पदों को खत्म करने और उसके बाद विभिन्न कैडरों में मैनपावर रीस्ट्रक्चरिंग के कारण। नतीजतन, कई सर्किलों में लंबे समय से एलआईसीई परीक्षाएं आयोजित नहीं की गई हैं, जिससे योग्य कर्मचारियों को उनके सही प्रमोशन के अवसर नहीं मिल रहे हैं। सीएचक्यू ने डायरेक्टर (एचआर) का ध्यान इस गंभीर मुद्दे की ओर दिलाया है और उचित और तत्काल सुधारात्मक कदम उठाने का अनुरोध करते हुए एक पत्र सौंपा है। यूनियन को उम्मीद है कि मैनेजमेंट इस विसंगति को दूर करने के लिए तुरंत और सकारात्मक कार्रवाई करेगा और सभी सर्किलों में कर्मचारियों के लिए समान प्रमोशन के अवसर सुनिश्चित करेगा।

The Wage Agreement issue has not been included as an agenda item in the Management Committee meetings. Although the Management Committee has been meeting every week, the Wage Agreement issue has not been taken up for consideration for the past three months. Even in the last Management Committee meeting held yesterday, the issue did not figure in the agenda. On receiving this information, the leadership of the unions and associations met Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani, Director (HR), on the evening of 18th December, and conveyed their strong resentment over the indifferent attitude of the BSNL Management in not placing the Wage Agreement issue before the Management Committee and the BSNL Board. In response, the Director (HR) immediately contacted the concerned officers to finalise the Management Committee note and directed that the matter be placed in the forthcoming Management Committee meeting. During the discussion, the issue of convening short-notice meetings with the General Secretaries and the settlement of the Tamil Nadu and Chennai Circle issues was also raised. The Director (HR) responded positively and assured that these issues would be considered in due course.

The All India Conference of the All India BSNL DOT Pensioners Association (AIBDPA) concluded successfully at Coimbatore on 18.12.2025, electing a new leadership for the organisation. The enthusiastic two-day conference, held on 17^th and 18^th December 2025, witnessed the participation of more than 1,500 delegates from across the country. The conference unanimously elected a new set of office bearers under the leadership of Com. M. R. Das as President, Com. Muraleedharan Nair as General Secretary, and Com. M. G. S. Kurup as Treasurer. The BSNL Employees Union (CHQ) conveys its heartiest congratulations and warm greetings to all the newly elected office bearers. Red salute to all of you. AIBDPA Zindabad!

The 5th Triennial Conference of the All India BSNL DOT Pensioners Association (AIBDPA), held today at Coimbatore, emerged as a strong platform of resistance against the Government’s sustained attacks on pensions, social security and public sector workers. The conference reaffirmed that the assault on pensions is not accidental, but part of a deliberate neo-liberal agenda aimed at weakening public sector undertakings, denying workers their rightful retirement security and pushing lakhs of employees and pensioners into uncertainty. Com.Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, BSNLEU, gave a clear call for united struggle. He stated that the Government is consciously undermining the pension system through policy manipulation and delay and stressed that pension can be defended only through iron-clad unity of serving employees, pensioners and CCWF. He firmly asserted that pension is a deferred wage, not charity and any attempt to dilute it will be resisted collectively. Com.K.G. Jayaraj, General Secretary, AIBDPA, exposed the continuous betrayal of BSNL pensioners through policy paralysis and neglect. He highlighted the denial of pension revision, medical benefits and statutory guarantees and declared that AIBDPA will fight relentlessly for the legitimate rights of pensioners, strengthening coordination with BSNLEU and CCWF. Com.V.A.N. Namboodiri, Veteran leader, reminded the delegates that pensions were won through decades of militant struggle and not granted by benevolent governments. He cautioned that retreat or silence would only embolden anti-worker forces and called for transforming resistance into organised mass struggle. Com.Vijaykumar, President, BSNLEU (CHQ), reaffirmed the union’s unconditional support to pensioners. He asserted that BSNLEU will oppose every attempt to weaken BSNL and push it towards privatisation, and will build united actions from SSA to national level, declaring that an attack on pensioners is an attack on the entire BSNL workforce.
