Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar and five other persons were killed after an aircraft carrying them crashed in Pune district today morning. The incident occurred when a Learjet 45 aircraft (registration VT-SSK), operated by VSR, was landing in Pune's Baramati area, according to the officials. There were five passengers, Ajit Pawar onboard along with two more personnel (one PSO and one attendant) and two crew members (pilot in-command and the first officer), on board the Learjet 45 aircraft when the accident happened. BSNLEU pays it's rich and respectful homage to Shri Ajit Pawar. BSNLEU also conveys it's heartfelt condolences to his family members.

The Mangaluru District Union, under the leadership of the Karnataka Circle, has taken all-out efforts to make the CEC meeting of BSNLEU a grand success. The meeting will commence with flag hoisting at 10:30 a.m. The conference proceedings will be held at Com. Ashok Pareek and Com. Santhosh Kumar Manch (TRC Hall), Mangaluru, and will begin with the inaugural ceremony at around 11:00 a.m. The Reception Committee, under the leadership of Com. H. V. Sudharshan, AGS and Circle Secretary, Karnataka Circle, Com. C. K. Gundanna, Circle President, Com. Irfan Pasha, All India Treasurer and Com. Tanveer Pasha, District Secretary, Mangaluru, along with the dedicated team of comrades from Mangaluru District, is actively involved in all preparations. In the meantime, the Reception Committee has also published a circular for the CEC members to ensure a comfortable journey and stay at Mangaluru.

पश्चिम बंगाल सीजीएमटी ऑफिस में बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों का तीन दिवसीय विरोध प्रदर्शन धरना।

बीएसएनएल कोऑर्डिनेशन कमेटी, पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल द्वारा आयोजित तीन दिवसीय विरोध प्रदर्शन धरना 19-21 जनवरी को कोलकाता के सीजीएमटी ऑफिस में हुआ, जिसमें कर्मचारियों और पेंशनभोगियों ने बड़ी संख्या में हिस्सा लिया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता साथी  आशीष दास, साथी  इमरान खान और साथी  अखिलेश बनर्जी ने की। संयोजक साथी  सुजय सरकार ने आंदोलन की मांगों के बारे में बताया। BSNLEU, AIBDPA, CMU और जिला यूनियनों के वक्ताओं ने वेतन और पेंशन संशोधन, एसएलए कर्मचारियों की छंटनी, ठेका कर्मचारियों को डीए का भुगतान न करने और पेंशन सत्यापन अधिनियम से संबंधित मुद्दों पर सरकार और बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन की कड़ी आलोचना की। उन्होंने मजदूर विरोधी श्रम संहिता और नेशनल मोनेटाइजेशन पाइपलाइन का भी विरोध किया। वक्ताओं ने प्रवासी मजदूरों पर सांप्रदायिक हमलों के खिलाफ एकता का आह्वान किया और 7 मार्च को दिल्ली में कैजुअल और ठेका कर्मचारियों के राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन और 12 फरवरी 2026 को देशव्यापी आम हड़ताल में भाग लेने की अपील की। ​​अंतिम दिन, साथी  आवास रॉय चौधरी (सीआईटीयू) ने सभा को संबोधित किया, श्रम संहिताओं के खतरों पर प्रकाश डाला और मजदूरों से आम हड़ताल में शामिल होने का आग्रह किया।

गोरखपुर बीए में मीटिंग

24.01.2026 को गोरखपुर बीए में साथी  राहुल राय की अध्यक्षता में और साथी  आनंद सिंह, एजीएस, BSNLEU की देखरेख में एक मीटिंग हुई। साथी  तिलक राज तिवारी, सर्कल सेक्रेटरी, उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्कल ने मीटिंग को संबोधित किया और 12 फरवरी को होने वाली आम हड़ताल, रिव्यू प्रोसेस और ज़रूरी संगठनात्मक मामलों पर विस्तार से बात की। साथी  राजनंदन गुप्ता, डिस्ट्रिक्ट सेक्रेटरी, देवरिया ने भी सभा को संबोधित किया। मऊ और बस्ती के डिस्ट्रिक्ट सेक्रेटरी ने हिस्सा लिया और अपने विचार रखे। मीटिंग सफलतापूर्वक खत्म हुई, और सभी साथियों को धन्यवाद दिया गया।

The BA-level Convention of Cuddalore BA was held on 22.01.2026 with good participation. The meeting was presided over by Com. I. Mathialagan, DS, AIBDPA. Com. K. Sivasankar, COS, BSNLEU, welcomed the gathering. Com. P. Abhimanyu, Vice President (CHQ), BSNLEU, delivered a special address to the well-attended convention, which was attended by more than 100 comrades. He elaborately spoke on the struggles conducted by the BSNL Employees Union, the joint movements of the All Unions and Associations of BSNL, and the role of the CoC. He explained the consistent stand taken by BSNLEU for uniting all organisations to secure the signing of the wage revision agreement and the follow-up action required for obtaining approval from the Management Committee and the Remuneration Committee. He also strongly condemned the imperialist act of the US President in abducting the President of the sovereign country of Venezuela and his wife on baseless allegations. Com. S. Chellappa, AGS, BSNLEU, addressed the convention on the anti-worker policies of the Central Government, with particular emphasis on the implementation of the four labour codes. He stressed the importance of active participation in the All-India General Strike on 12^th February 2026. Com. V. Meganathan, CVP, AIBDPA, and Com. V. Pandian, COS, TNTCWU, also addressed the gathering and appealed to all comrades to participate wholeheartedly in the General Strike. Com. K. Vijayanand, DS, BSNLEU, proposed the vote of thanks.
