कर्मचारी के अपने जीवनसाथी के साथ जुड़ने पर DoP&T के आदेश का कार्यान्वयन न होना -BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर नियम 8 के तहत "सरप्लस सर्कल" में स्थानांतरण के अनुरोध पर विचार करने की मांग की है।

DoP&T ने स्पष्ट आदेश जारी करते हुए कहा है कि पति और पत्नी को एक ही स्टेशन/सर्कल में तैनात किया जाना चाहिए। इसके अलावा, बीएसएनएल कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय ने चीफ जनरल मैनेजर को दिशानिर्देश भी जारी किया है जिसमें कहा गया है कि, केंद्र सरकार के विभाग / राज्य सरकार के विभाग / सार्वजनिक क्षेत्र के उपक्रम में काम करने वाले पति या पत्नी के स्थानांतरण के अनुरोध पर विचार किया जाना चाहिए। हालाँकि, नियम 8 के तहत "अधिशेष सर्किलों" के रूप में वर्गीकृत सर्किलों में स्थानांतरण के लिए जेई के अनुरोधों को बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन द्वारा स्वीकार नहीं किया जा रहा है। यह इस विषय पर DoP&T के आदेश को लागू न करने के अलावा और कुछ नहीं है। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने आज सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर उनसे अनुरोध किया है कि वे जेई के अपने जीवनसाथी के साथ जुड़ने के लिए स्थानांतरण के अनुरोध पर विचार करें, यहां तक ​​कि "अतिरिक्त सर्कल" के रूप में वर्गीकृत सर्कल में भी विचार करें।

The DoP&T has issued categorical orders, stating that husband and wife should be posted in the same station/circle. Further, the BSNL Corporate Office has also issued guideline to the CGM‘s stating that, requests for transfer to join the spouse working in Central Government Department / State Government Department / Public Sector Undertaking should be considered. However, the requests of the JEs for transfer under Rule 8 to the circles categorised as “surplus circles”, are not being accepted by the BSNL management. This is nothing but non-implementation of the DoP&T order on the subject. Hence, BSNLEU has written letter to the CMD BSNL today, requesting him to consider the requests of the JEs, for transfer to join the spouse, even to the circles categorised as “surplus circles”.

BSNLEU has written a letter to the CMD BSNL today, demanding to sanction Rs.20,000/- as Festival Advance to the Non-Executives. BSNLEU has pointed out that, this Festival Advance amount will be deducted in installments from the salary of the employees, and hence it will not create any financial burden to the company.
