Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, spoke to Shri P.K. Purwar, CMD BSNL, today, and expressed the unhappiness of the Union over the delay in the implementation of the order of the Hon’ble Kerala High Court, regarding payment of IDA to the Non-Executives. The General Secretary pointed out that it is already three weeks since the matter was referred to the DoT and still the matter remains unsettled. The General Secretary told the CMD BSNL that “justice delayed is justice denied”. Responding to the remarks made by the General Secretary, the CMD BSNL told that, he would immediately pursue the matter with the DoT.

In his discussion with Shri P.K Purwar, CMD BSNL today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, expressed his serious concern over the alarming situation prevailing in Maharashtra. He pointed out that, the spreading of COVID-19 in Maharashtra circle has reached alarming levels. Hence, the General Secretary demanded the CMD BSNL to immediately implement the precautionary steps already laid down by the Maharashtra state government. The CMD BSNL assured that the matter would be discussed with the Director (HR) and that appropriate action would be taken.

The Amritsar District Union of Punjab circle, has celebrated the 130^th birth anniversary of Dr.B.R. Ambedkar in an appreciable manner. It has conducted an online painting competition related to Dr.B.R. Ambedkar and his contributions to the society. Children in the age group of 5 to 10 years participated in this competition. Further, the Amritsar district union has also felicitated Shri V.K. Singh, retd. Office Superintendent for his social services. The CHQ heartily congratulates the Amritsar district union for it’s efforts taken to celebrate Dr.B.R. Ambedkar’s birth anniversary.

बीएसएनएलईयू की निदेशक (एचआर) के साथ बैठक 17 मई, 2021 को होगी।

बीएसएनएलईयू और निदेशक (एचआर) के बीच 17 मई, 2021 को एक बैठक होगी। इस बैठक में कर्मचारियों की महत्वपूर्ण समस्याओं पर चर्चा की जाएगी। BSNLEU शीघ्र ही इस बैठक के लिए एजेंडा आइटम प्रस्तुत करेगा ।

The All India Centre meeting of BSNLEU was held online on 10.04.2021, under the presidentship of Com.Animesh Mitra. The meeting reviewed the functioning of the CHQ, in the background of the fast spreading second wave of COVID-19 pandemic. After detailed discussions, the meeting decided that, the General Secretary will work from Pondicherry, till the situation improves.

A meeting between BSNLEU and the Director (HR) will be held on 17^th May, 2021. Important staff problems will be discussed in the meeting. BSNLEU will be submitting agenda items for this meeting shortly.

BSNLEU pays it's respectful homage to Dr.B.R.Ambedkar, on the occasion of his 130th birth anniversary. BSNLEU pledges to carry forward Dr.B.R.Ambedkar's struggle against caste oppressions, gender inequality and for social justice.
