The All India Centre of BSNLEU has taken decision to conduct the Circle Conference of J&K circle at Jammu on 09.06.2024. As per the Constitution of BSNLEU, the Circle Conference has to be conducted once in three years. However, the last Circle Conference of J&K circle was conducted on 16^th & 17^th May, 2017. Thereafter, no Circle Conference of J&K circle has been conducted. It is already 7 years since the last Circle Conference was conducted. It is under these circumstances, the All India Centre has decided to conduct the Circle Conference. The General Secretary of BSNLEU has issued the notification on 14.05.2024, for holding the Circle Conference.

On the occasion of his 14th death anniversary, we pay our respectful homage to Com. Moni Bose, the legendary leader of the P&T trade union movement. The election of Com.Moni Bose as the General Secretary of E3 union in the Bhopal All India Conference, galvanised and changed the course the Telecom trade union movement. It is under his leadership, the E3 Union took the path-breaking decision of joining the General Strikes called on by the Central Trade Unions, against the pro-corporate and anti-working class policies of the government. Even today, BSNLEU continues to March forward in the path shown by him. Com.Moni Bose is a symbol of sacrifice. Appointed as a clerk in the DET office in Calcutta in 1945, Com. Moni Bose was dismissed from service in 1949 itself, for participating in the historic strike of the P&T employees. However his dismissal did not deter Moni Bose. He continued to champion the cause of the working class and the downtrodden, till he breathed his last on 19th May, 2010.  Even today, the life and sacrifices of Com.Moni Bose remain as a source of inspiration for thousands of comrades. On this occasion, we pay our respectful homage to Com.Moni Bose. Red salutes to Com.Moni Bose. 

नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव कर्मचारियों और सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को फाइबर आधारित निःशुल्क आवासीय लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन उपलब्ध कराएं – BSNLEU ने एक बार फिर बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी को पत्र लिखा।

निःशुल्क आवासीय लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन कर्मचारियों और सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को राष्ट्र के प्रति दी जाने वाली उनकी सेवाओं के सम्मान में दी जाने वाली सुविधा है। यह सुविधा पिछले 23 वर्षों से कर्मचारियों और सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को मिल रही है। वर्तमान बीएसएनएल प्रबंधन नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव कर्मचारियों की किसी भी मांग का समाधान नहीं कर पाया है। हालांकि, इस प्रबंधन ने कर्मचारियों और सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों से निःशुल्क आवासीय लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन की सुविधा छीन ली है। BSNLEU लगातार प्रबंधन के समक्ष इस मुद्दे को उठा रहा है और मांग कर रहा है कि नोन एक्ज़ीक्यूटिव कर्मचारियों और सेवानिवृत्त कर्मचारियों को फाइबर आधारित निःशुल्क आवासीय लैंडलाइन कनेक्शन उपलब्ध कराया जाए। एक बार फिर आज BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर इस मुद्दे का शीघ्र समाधान करने की मांग की है।

Free residential landline connection is a facility given to the employees and the retirees, in appreciation of their service rendered to the nation. This facility is enjoyed by the employees and the retirees for the past 23 years. The present BSNL Management has not been able to settle any of the demands of the Non-Executive employees. However, this Management has snatched away the facility of free residential landline connection from the employees and the retirees. BSNLEU is continuously taking up this issue with the Management and is demanding that fibre based free residential landline connection should be provided to the Non-Executive employees and the retirees. Once again, today, BSNLEU has written a letter to the CMD BSNL, demanding early settlement of this issue.
