View pamphletThe BSNLEU has expressed strong resentment over the delay in implementing the revised IDA, and has written to the CMD of BSNL demanding immediate payment in the March 2026 salary. The Department of Public Enterprises (DPE) issued the IDA order on 27.02.2026, with effect from 01.01.2026. Subsequently, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) recommended its implementation to BSNL. However, instead of taking prompt action, the Corporate Office unnecessarily referred the file for further clarification, causing widespread dissatisfaction among employees. On 23.03.2026, Com.M. Vijayakumar, President, and Com.Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, met Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani, Director (HR) BSNL and conveyed the strong resentment of the staff side, submitting a letter to the management. During subsequent discussions with PGM (Estt.) and PGM (SR), the management informed that the required clarification has now been received from DoT and will be placed before the higher authorities for necessary action.
