BSNLEU opposes unilateral restructuring of Uttarakhand Circle - demands immediate rollback.

BSNLEU has strongly opposed the unilateral restructuring of the Uttarakhand Circle under the so-called "Uttarakhand Pilot Project" without any discussion with the Recognised Unions and Associations. In a letter to the CMD BSNL, the Union has conveyed its strong resentment over the decision and cautioned the Management about the growing opposition from the employees of the Uttarakhand Circle, who have already launched agitational programmes. The entire staff has also conveyed its strong protest to the Chief General Manager, Uttarakhand Circle. Under these circumstances, BSNLEU has demanded the immediate rollback of the restructuring and called for meaningful discussions with the Recognised Unions and Associations before implementing any organisational changes.
