Posting of Chief General Managers in Various Circles – Corporate Office has Issued Order on 05.07.2026.
The Corporate Office has issued orders dated 05.07.2026 posting Chief General Managers (CGMs) in seven BSNL circles. For quite some time, several circles had been functioning without regular Chief General Managers, creating serious administrative difficulties and affecting the effective functioning of the circles. BSNL Employees Union had repeatedly highlighted this issue before the BSNL Management on various occasions and demanded the posting of regular CGMs.
The recent decision of the Corporate Office to appoint regular Chief General Managers in seven circles is a welcome step. It is expected that the functioning of these circles will improve under the leadership of the newly posted CGMs. However, a number of circles are still functioning without regular Chief General Managers. The Corporate Office should take immediate steps to fill these remaining vacancies to ensure efficient administration and smooth functioning across all BSNL circles.
