Management Takes Serious Action on the Charter of Demands Submitted by BSNL Employees Union.

The Management has initiated serious action on the Charter of Demands submitted by the BSNL Employees Union. While submitting the memorandum to the CMD, BSNL on 1st July, 2026, Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, BSNLEU, highlighted several pressing issues and urged the Management to take immediate action for their resolution. During the discussion, the CMD, BSNL, enquired about the reasons for the prolonged delay in settling these genuine issues. He assured the Union that appropriate action would be taken and directed that the matter be discussed with the PGM(SR).

Accordingly, the Director (HR), BSNL, held a detailed discussion with the BSNL Employees Union (CHQ) on 2nd July, 2026, on the Charter of Demands. He assured the Union that the issues would be taken up on the highest priority, in accordance with the instructions of the CMD, BSNL. During the meeting, Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, and Com. John Vergeese, Assistant General Secretary, expressed their strong resentment over the indifferent approach of the HR Administration at the Corporate Office in not resolving the long-pending and genuine demands of the Non-Executives despite repeated representations. At the conclusion of the meeting, the PGM (SR) assured the Union that an exclusive meeting would be convened at the earliest to discuss and settle the long-pending issues of the Non-Executives. The meeting was also attended by the PGM (Estt.), PGM (SR), and PGM (Admn.), along with the Director (HR).
