Serious complaints are coming regarding the style of the functioning of the Sports Cell of the BSNL Corporate Office. Fair play is being denied and there is total lack of transparency in the functioning of the Sports Cell. For example, applications were called for, for the selection of coaches one year back. But, the eligible list is not announced yet. In the meanwhile, persons handpicked by the Sports Cell are being deputed as coaches, by passing the NIS accredited coaches. BSNLEU has written a letter to the PGM( Admin), BSNL CO on this matter today. We hope that, necessary action would be taken.

Recently, it has been brought to the notice of the CHQ that, Local Councils are not formed at all in Maharashtra and Gujarat circles. Hence, BSNLEU has once again written letter to the PGM(SR) today, requesting to ensure early formation of the Local Councils in these circles.
