The CEC meeting of BSNLEU is being held at New Delhi on 09^th & 10^th December, 2023. The K.G.Bose Memorial Trust meeting will also be held at New Delhi at 06:00 pm on 09.12.2023. The Trust meeting will be held in Surjeet Bhawan, which is the venue of the CEC meeting. Members of the K.G. Bose Memorial Trust are requested to kindly attend this meeting. A separate circular for holding the Trust meeting is issued.

उत्तराखंड सुरंग संकट के पीछे लाभ की भूखी नीतियां कारण - ट्रेड यूनियनों का आरोप।

उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी जिले में ढही सुरंग में 41 मजदूर फंसे हुए हैं।  मजदूर 12 नवंबर, 2023 से सुरंग में फंसे हुए हैं। भारत के 10 केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों ने आरोप लगाया है कि दुर्घटना के पीछे सुरक्षा मानदंडों का पूर्ण उल्लंघन है। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया है कि लंबी सुरंगों के निर्माण में आपातकालीन स्थितियों से निपटने के लिए अनिवार्य भागने के मार्गों/सुरंगों की भी योजना नहीं बनाई गई थी। संयुक्त बयान में मांग की गई है कि सरकार को स्वास्थ्य और सुरक्षा पर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय श्रम संगठन (आईएलओ) कन्वेंशन की तुरंत पुष्टि करनी चाहिए और लागू करना चाहिए। केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों का आरोप है कि केंद्र ने बचाव कार्यों की निगरानी के लिए बहुत देर से एक टीम भेजी थी। एक अलग बयान में कंस्ट्रक्शन वर्कर्स फेडरेशन ऑफ इंडिया ने आरोप लगाया है कि यह दुर्घटना सरकार द्वारा लागू की गई लाभ की भूखी विकास नीतियों का परिणाम है।
 

बीएमएस ने भी पुरानी पेंशन योजना की बहाली की मांग की।

03-10-2023 को केंद्र और राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारियों की ट्रेड यूनियनों ने पुरानी पेंशन योजना को बहाल करने की मांग को लेकर रामलीला मैदान में एक विशाल रैली का आयोजन किया। इसमें लाखों कर्मचारी और पेंशनभोगी शामिल हुए। केंद्र और राज्य सरकार के कर्मचारियों की ट्रेड यूनियनों के दबाव के कारण नई पेंशन योजना (एनपीएस) को खत्म करने और पुरानी पेंशन योजना (ओपीएस) को बहाल करने की मांग जोर पकड़ रही है। विपक्षी दलों द्वारा शासित कई राज्य सरकारें पहले ही पुरानी पेंशन योजना बहाल कर चुकी हैं। ऐसे में पुरानी पेंशन योजना की बहाली की मांग को लेकर बीएमएस ने कल नई दिल्ली में एक रैली भी आयोजित की है। यह ध्यान रखना महत्वपूर्ण है कि बीएमएस आरएसएस का एक सहयोगी है। यह भी सर्वविदित तथ्य है कि सत्तारूढ़ भाजपा को आरएसएस द्वारा निर्देशित किया जा रहा है। इसलिए, बेहतर होगा कि बीएमएस को आरएसएस और भाजपा से पुरानी पेंशन योजना को बहाल करने के लिए कहना चाहिए।

41 workers are trapped in the tunnel, collapsed in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. The workers are trapped in the tunnel since 12th November, 2023. The 10 Central Trade Unions of India have alleged that, total violation of safety norms is the reason behind the accident. They have alleged that, escape routes / tunnels, which are compulsory to meet emergency situations in construction of long tunnels, were not even planned. The joint statement has demanded that, the government should immediately ratify and implement the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conventions on Health and Safety. The Central Trade Unions have alleged that, the centre had sent a team very late to monitor the rescue operations. In a separate statement, the Construction Workers Federation of India has alleged that, the accident is the result of profit hungry development policies implemented by the government.

On 03-10-2023, the trade unions of the Central and State Government employees organised a massive rally at Ramlila Maidan, demanding to restore the Old Pension Scheme. Lakhs of employees and pensioners participated in it. The demand for scrapping the New Pension Scheme (NPS) and to restore the Old Pension Scheme (OPS) is gaining momentum due to the pressure created by the trade unions of the Central and State Government employees. Many State Governments ruled by opposition parties have already restored the Old Pension Scheme. Under these circumstances, the BMS has also organised a rally at New Delhi yesterday, demanding restoration of the Old Pension Scheme. It is important to note that, the BMS is an affiliate of the RSS. It is also a known fact that the Ruling BJP is being guided by the RSS. So, it is better the BMS should tell the RSS and the BJP to restore the Old Pension Scheme.
