An important meeting was held on 6th August, 2025, between CMD BSNL and the General Secretaries of unions and associations to discuss on various burning issues. Two major issues were highlighted for immediate intervention of the CMD BSNL.

1. The CMD BSNL was apprised of the ongoing situation in Tamil Nadu and Chennai circle and the role of Chief General Manager. After listening to the details, the CMD BSNL directed the Director (HR) to resolve the issue immediately.
2. On the issue of the Wage Negotiation for 3rd PRC, the CMD BSNL was apprised that the last Wage Negotiation Committee meeting held on 30.06.2025 and the recognised unions in Non-Executive cadres had conveyed their eagerness to make the agreement immediately. During discussion in the Wage Negotiation Committee meeting, the Staff Side had also submitted their views about fitment formula and to upgrade 4 pay scales to overcome the stagnation issues. But, it is unfortunate that the Formal meeting has not been held since then. 

CMD BSNL positively responded and directed the Director (HR) to take proper action for early signing of the agreement between Management and Recognised Unions. 

On the other issues like mobile attendance, freedom plan, CMD BSNL asked Director (HR) to settle the issues through meaningful discussion with the unions / associations.

The LICEs for the Non-Executive employees, viz., TT LICE, JE LICE and JTO LICE were last held in the month of September, 2024. These examinations have to be conducted for the vacancy year 2024. It is already August, 2025. However, notifications for the TT LICE, JE LICE and JTO LICE are not yet issued by the Corporate Office. Candidates who are eligible for appearing in these examinations are eagerly awaiting the notifications to be issued by the Corporate Office. Further, BSNLEU has already written many letters to the Director (HR) complaining that, the standard of the questions asked in the TT LICE, JE LICE and JTO LICE are very high. Many out of syllabus questions and questions with multiple correct answers are also being asked in the aforementioned LICEs. Today, BSNLEU has written letter to the Director (HR), requesting for the early issuing of the notifications for holding these examinations and also requesting to ensure that the standard of the questions are not high and also out of syllabus questions and questions with multiple correct answers are not asked in the LICEs.

रिक्त वर्ष 2024 के लिए टीटी एलआईसीई, जेई एलआईसीई और जेटीओ एलआईसीई परीक्षाएँ आयोजित करें - प्रश्नों का स्तर उच्च न हो - पाठ्यक्रम से बाहर के प्रश्न और एकाधिक सही उत्तरों वाले प्रश्नों की पुनरावृत्ति न हो - BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखा।

नॉन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव कर्मचारियों के लिए एलआईसीई, अर्थात टीटी एलआईसीई, जेई एलआईसीई और जेटीओ एलआईसीई, पिछली बार सितंबर, 2024 में आयोजित की गई थीं। ये परीक्षाएँ रिक्त वर्ष 2024 के लिए आयोजित की जानी हैं। अगस्त, 2025 हो चुका है। हालाँकि, कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय द्वारा टीटी एलआईसीई, जेई एलआईसीई और जेटीओ एलआईसीई के लिए अधिसूचनाएँ अभी तक जारी नहीं की गई हैं। इन परीक्षाओं में बैठने के पात्र उम्मीदवार कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय द्वारा जारी की जाने वाली अधिसूचनाओं का बेसब्री से इंतजार कर रहे हैं। इसके अलावा, BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को कई पत्र लिखकर शिकायत की है कि टीटी एलआईसीई, जेई एलआईसीई और जेटीओ एलआईसीई में पूछे गए प्रश्नों का स्तर बहुत ऊँचा है। उपरोक्त एलआईसीई में कई पाठ्यक्रम से बाहर के प्रश्न और बहु-सही उत्तर वाले प्रश्न भी पूछे जा रहे हैं। आज, BSNLEU ने निदेशक (मानव संसाधन) को पत्र लिखकर इन परीक्षाओं के आयोजन हेतु अधिसूचना शीघ्र जारी करने का अनुरोध किया है और यह भी सुनिश्चित करने का अनुरोध किया है कि प्रश्नों का स्तर उच्च न हो और BSNLEU में पाठ्यक्रम से बाहर के प्रश्न और बहु-सही उत्तर वाले प्रश्न न पूछे जाएँ।

Some 22 candidates are being sent for JTO training. All these candidates belong to the category of "Persons With Benchmark Disabilities". They are being sent for JTO training at Ghaziabad and or Jabalpur. All these candidates belong to the southern circles of Kerala, Tamilnadu, Chennai Telephones, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh circles. As such, they will face inconveniences if they are sent for training at Ghaziabad or Jabalpur. Hence, BSNLEU has taken up this issue and has written letter to the PGM (Recct.&Trng.) in the Corporate Office, requesting him to take steps for sending these candidates for training at RGM TTC, Chennai or any other training centre in the South. 

"बेंचमार्क दिव्यांगजन" श्रेणी के उम्मीदवारों के लिए जेटीओ प्रशिक्षण - BSNLEU ने प्रशिक्षण केंद्र बदलने की मांग की।

करीब 22 उम्मीदवारों को जेटीओ प्रशिक्षण प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजा जा रहा है। ये सभी उम्मीदवार "बेंचमार्क दिव्यांगजन" श्रेणी के हैं। इन्हें गाजियाबाद और जबलपुर में जेटीओ प्रशिक्षण  के लिए भेजा जा रहा है। ये सभी उम्मीदवार केरल, तमिलनाडु, चेन्नई टेलीफोन, कर्नाटक, तेलंगाना और आंध्र प्रदेश सर्कल के दक्षिणी सर्कल से हैं। ऐसे में, यदि इन्हें गाजियाबाद या जबलपुर में प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजा जाता है, तो उन्हें असुविधाओं का सामना करना पड़ेगा। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने इस मुद्दे को उठाया है और कॉर्पोरेट कार्यालय में प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (रिक्रू एवं प्रशिक्षण) को पत्र लिखकर इन उम्मीदवारों को आरजीएम टीटीसी, चेन्नई या दक्षिण के किसी अन्य प्रशिक्षण केंद्र में प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजने के लिए कदम उठाने का अनुरोध किया है।
