On 16.01.2026, Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary and Com. Ashwin Kumar, AGS, met Shri Rajiv Kumar Kaushik, PGM (SR). During discussions with the PGM (Pers.), it was learnt that significant progress has been made regarding the approval of the Wage Agreement at the appropriate level. It was informed that, following the approval of the Management Committee, the Remuneration Committee has also accorded its approval to the Wage Agreement. Further, it was learnt that the relevant documents on the subject has already been circulated to all Board Members. The staff side is now eagerly awaiting the approval of the Board, which is likely to be taken up in the Board Meeting scheduled towards the end of this month.

Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, held discussions with Shri S. P. Singh, PGM (Estt.), BSNL Corporate Office, yesterday on several pending staff issues. The issue of promotion of sports personnel, which is still pending at the Corporate Office despite discussions in the National Council, was raised. In response, the PGM (Estt.) assured that the file would be placed before the higher authority for further action. Regarding the payment of DA to casual labourers, Shri S. P. Singh informed that the file has already been submitted to the Director (Finance) for necessary action. The General Secretary also raised the issue of deputation transfer, seeking extension of the deputation period of certain JEs presently posted in UP (West) circle. The PGM (Estt.) assured that the matter would be discussed with the Director (HR) for further guidelines.

An online meeting of the Central Secretariat was held on 11.01.2026 to discuss several important issues, including participation in the Central Trade Unions’ call for the General Strike on 12^th February 2026. The meeting has also discussed on some organisational matters, particularly the role of the AUAB in ensuring the success of the countrywide demonstration held on 08^th January 2026 for the approval of the Wage Agreement. After threadbare discussions, the Central Secretariat took certain important decisions. These decisions have already been communicated to all CEC Members and District Secretaries through WhatsApp as well as e-mail for early and effective implementation at the grass-root level of the organisation.

4 लेबर कोड और 12 फरवरी 2026 की आम हड़ताल के खिलाफ अभियान चलाने के लिए केंद्रीय सचिवालय का प्रस्ताव

11 जनवरी 2026 को हुई केंद्रीय सचिवालय की बैठक में चार लेबर कोड के ट्रेड यूनियन अधिकारों पर पड़ने वाले बुरे असर पर विस्तार से चर्चा की गई। बैठक में लेबर कोड के खिलाफ अभियान को तेज़ करने और 12 फरवरी 2026 की आम हड़ताल को बड़ी सफलता बनाने के लिए केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के कार्यक्रमों में सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेने का संकल्प लिया गया। केंद्रीय सचिवालय ने दिल्ली में 09.01.2026 को हुए केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियन कन्वेंशन में अपनाए गए प्रस्ताव का भी समर्थन किया, जिसमें BSNLEU ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया था। यह प्रस्ताव बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के बीच जागरूकता और लामबंदी के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर प्रसारित किया जा रहा है। बैठक में BSNLEU के सभी स्तरों के सदस्यों से उचित कार्रवाई करने और मज़दूर विरोधी लेबर कोड के खिलाफ केंद्रीय ट्रेड यूनियनों के संयुक्त संघर्ष में सक्रिय रूप से शामिल होने का आह्वान किया गया।

स्टाफ के मुद्दों के प्रति बीएसएनएल मैनेजमेंट का उदासीन रवैया – सीएचक्यू  ने कड़ी नाराज़गी जताई।

सीएचक्यू  ने लंबे समय से पेंडिंग स्टाफ के मुद्दों को सुलझाने में बीएसएनएल मैनेजमेंट के लगातार उदासीन रवैये पर गंभीर नाराज़गी जताई है। सर्कल मैनेजमेंट द्वारा बार-बार रिप्रेजेंटेशन देने और कॉर्पोरेट ऑफिस में यूनियन नेताओं द्वारा चर्चा करने के बावजूद, कई ज़रूरी मुद्दे अनसुलझे हैं। 16.01.2026 को साथी  अनिमेष मित्रा, जनरल सेक्रेटरी, और साथी  अश्विन कुमार, सहायक महासचिव ने श्री राजीव कुमार कौशिक, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (SR) से मुलाकात की और रूल-9 के तहत डेपुटेशन पीरियड बढ़ाने, स्पोर्ट्स कर्मियों का प्रमोशन, अपॉइंटमेंट की तारीख से ईपीएफ कटौती, कश्मीर घाटी स्पेशल अलाउंस, कैजुअल मजदूरों को डीए पेमेंट, बजट में कटौती और अन्य पेंडिंग मुद्दों सहित मुख्य शिकायतों पर बात की। जनरल सेक्रेटरी ने जनवरी 2025 से नेशनल काउंसिल की मीटिंग न बुलाए जाने पर भी चिंता जताई। शिकायतें सुनने के बाद, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर  (SR) ने आश्वासन दिया कि पेंडिंग मुद्दों को हल करने के लिए जल्द से जल्द नेशनल काउंसिल या एक फॉर्मल मीटिंग बुलाने की कोशिश की जाएगी।
