The Corporate Office has issued notification for holding the JTO LICE under 50% quota on 27.08.2023. As per the Recruitment Rules of the JTO(T), 5 years of qualifying service in the pay scale of 13600 – 25420 or above is required as on 01st January, 2022. However, the DoP&T, vide letter no.F.No.AB-14017/17/2018-Estt.RR dated 12th August, 2021 has stated that, this condition of 5 years qualifying service can be relaxed by 3 moths for the exams to be conducted for the vacancy years 2022 and 2023. Hence, BSNLEU has written letter to the PGM(Estt.), BSNL CO., to ensure that this relaxation, as per the DoP&T letter, is permitted for the forthcoming JTO LICE.

As per the decision of the CEC, Maharashtra circle union has taken the initiative to collect donations for the Agricultural Workers Union. The district unions of Maharashtra circle, as well as individual comrades have generously given the donation. The CHQ has received a total of Rs.46,882/-, from Maharashtra circle so far. The details are given in the enclosure. CHQ heartily thanks and congratulates all the comrades of Maharashtra circle, who have given the donation.
View listBSNLEU is continuously demanding that, the eligible officials working in the CGM Offices, should be permitted to appear in the forthcoming TT LICE, even though CGM Offices are not having TT vacancies. In this connection, the Corporate Office has already given instruction to the CGM Office, Gujarat circle. Now, the CGM Office, Maharashtra circle, has raised the same issue. Hence, BSNLEU has written letter to the PGM(Estt.), BSNL CO., demanding to issue necessary guideline to the CGM, Maharashtra.
View letterBSNLEU organised a highly successful meeting of the functionaries of the Southern Circles, including Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, to discuss about the revival of the contract workers union. Circle secretaries, circle presidents, central office bearers of BSNLEU of the circles of Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Chennai Telephones, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh, participated in this meeting. Two functionaries of the BSNL Casual Contract Workers Federation from each circle also participated. Senior leader, Com.C.K. Gundanna, AGS, presided over the meeting. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, welcomed everyone and made a presentation on the purpose of the meeting, the working conditions of the contract workers and the need for BSNL Employees Union to take efforts for strengthening the BSNL Casual Contract Workers Union. Com.Animesh Mitra, President, BSNLEU, as well as the Secretary General of BSNLCCWF, senior leaders Com.J. Sampath Rao, AGS and Com.N.K. Nalawade, Vice President, addressed the meeting. Thereafter, all the circle secretaries, circle presidents, CHQ office bearers and representatives of BSNLCCWF addressed and explained about the field level realities related to the working conditions of the contract workers. After detailed discussion, the meeting took decisions regarding the ways and means of settling the burning problems of the contract workers and strengthening the BSNL Casual Contract Workers Federation. The CHQ of BSNLEU heartily congratulates the Telengana circle union for making very good arrangements for the success of the meeting. The CHQ will issue a circular regarding the decisions taken in the meeting.
