As per Consumer Price Index numbers released by Labour Bureau on 29-09-2023 (at 8-30 PM), IDA Rate on 2007 Pay-Scales & Pension is likely to increase by 10.0% w.e.f. 1st October 2023. Existing IDA is 205.6%. IDA increase is 10.0% . New IDA will be 215.6% (from October'23). Payable only after DPE issues necessary orders.

29-09-2023 (रात 8-30 बजे) को श्रम ब्यूरो द्वारा जारी उपभोक्ता मूल्य सूचकांक संख्याओं के अनुसार, 2007 वेतनमान और पेंशन पर 1 अक्टूबर 2023 से आईडीए दर 10.0% बढ़ने की संभावना है। मौजूदा आईडीए 205.6% है। आईडीए वृद्धि 10.0% है। अक्टूबर 23 से नया आईडीए 215.6% होगा। डीपीई द्वारा आवश्यक आदेश जारी करने के बाद ही भुगतान किया जाएगा।

Shri Arvind Vadnerkar, Director (HR), is retiring on superannuation tomorrow the 30th September, 2023. BSNLEU met the Director (HR) today and bid him farewell by offering a bouquet. BSNLEU wishes a long, happy and healthy retired life to Shri Arvind Vadnerkar.
Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, father of India’s Green Revolution passed away yesterday. He was 98 years old. Dr. M.S. Swaminathan was a world reputed Agriculture Scientist who played a key-role in transforming India from a food-scarce nation into a food grain exporting nation. More than a scientist, Shri M.S. Swaminathan had always been a humanist first. His heart always beat for the poor. BSNLEU pays it’s respectful homage to Shri M.S. Swaminathan and conveys it’s heartfelt condolences to his family members.
As regards the verification of the caste certificates of the ST officials of Maharashtra circle, BSNLEU has already written to the Director (HR) and demanded that the ST officials who actually did not gain employment on the basis of the caste certificate, should be exempted. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri Arvind Vadnerkar, Director (HR) today and discussed this issue. He told the Director (HR) that the CGM Office, Maharashtra circle, has already written letter to the Corporate Office in this connection. The GS requested the Director (HR) to take speedy action on this issue. The Director (HR) assured to do the needful.
