Dr. M.S. Swaminathan – the World reputed Agriculture Scientist passed away.
Dr. M.S. Swaminathan, father of India’s Green Revolution passed away yesterday. He was 98 years old. Dr. M.S. Swaminathan was a world reputed Agriculture Scientist who played a key-role in transforming India from a food-scarce nation into a food grain exporting nation. More than a scientist, Shri M.S. Swaminathan had always been a humanist first. His heart always beat for the poor. BSNLEU pays it’s respectful homage to Shri M.S.
