A meeting of the AUAB is held at New Delhi today. It was a hybrid meeting, partially physical and partially online.  The General Secretaries of BSNLEU, NFTE, SNEA, SEWA BSNL, AIBSNLEA, BSNL MS, AITEEA and BSNL ATM, participated in the meeting physically. General Secretaries of FNTO, SNATTA, AIBSNLOA and BSNLEC participated online. The meeting reviewed the action programme conducted by AUAB on the ALTTC issue. The meeting also discussed Wage Revision, which is the most burning issue of BSNL employees. The HR policy being pursued by BSNL Management is also discussed seriously. The meeting decided to take up the Pay Revision / Wage Revision issue on priority basis, by holding talks with the BSNL Management and the DoT and also to organise programmes of action if necessary.

Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS met Ms. Anita Johri, PGM(SR) today and discussed the following issues:-

1. Formation of Local Councils at the OA level.

BSNLEU is continuously pressing on the Management that, Local Councils should be allowed to function at the OA level also. In some circles, Local Councils are functioning at the OA level whereas in some other circles, Local Councils are not being formed at the OA level. The General Secretary insisted that, the Corporate Office should issue instruction to all the circles for the formation of councils at the OA level. 

2. Clear cut orders are already existing regarding the facility of Immunity from Transfers, in respect of the Non-Executive Trade Unions. However some recent instructions have been issued by the Corporate Office wherein the instructions issued in respect of Executive Associations have been mixed up. GS,BSNLEU, demanded that necessary clarification should be issued by the Corporate Office to clear the confusion. 

3. Constitution of Committee to review amendments done to Rule 9 of BSNL Transfer Policy.

The Management has arbitrarily amended Rule 9 of BSNL Transfer Policy which is creating difficulties for the employees. Demand has already been raised that a Committee should be constituted to review the amendments done to Rule 9. In the last National Council meeting, the Management Side had agreed for formation of the Committee. However, the same has not been constituted till now. The General Secretary demanded that, this committee should be constituted without delay.  

The PGM (SR) assured that needful action would be taken on all the above issues.

9 और 10 दिसंबर, 2023 को नई दिल्ली में आयोजित BSNLEU की सीईसी बैठक ने एक बार फिर बीएसएनएल कैजुअल कॉन्ट्रैक्ट वर्कर्स फेडरेशन को मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता दोहराई है। इस परिस्थिति में, बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ की केंद्रीय पदाधिकारियों की बैठक 16-12-2023 को ऑनलाइन आयोजित की गई। बैठक में दिनांक *15-01-2024 से 15-02-2024 तक नए सदस्यों के नामांकन के लिए "सदस्यता अभियान"* चलाने का निर्णय लिया गया है। BSNLEU के सर्किल और जिला यूनियनों से इस अवसर का उपयोग करने का अनुरोध किया जाता है। उन्हें ठेका श्रमिकों से संपर्क कर उन्हें बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ का सदस्य बनाकर नई सदस्यता दर्ज करानी चाहिए। BSNLEU और बीएसएनएलसीसीडब्ल्यूएफ के सीएचक्यू हैंडबिल की छपाई के लिए सामग्री तैयार करेंगे, जिसका उपयोग सदस्यता अभियान के लिए किया जाना चाहिए। BSNLEU के सभी सर्कल और जिला सचिवों से इस सदस्यता अभियान को प्रभावी ढंग से चलाने का अनुरोध किया जाता है। 

The CEC meeting of BSNLEU, held at New Delhi, on 9th & 10th December, 2023, has once again reiterated the need to strengthen BSNL Casual Contract Workers Federation. Under this circumstance, the Central Office-bearers meeting of BSNLCCWF was held online on 16-12-2023. The meeting has decided to conduct a “membership drive” for enrolling new members from 15-01-2024 to 15-02-2024. The Circle and District unions of BSNLEU are requested to utilise this opportunity. They should enroll new membership by approaching the contract workers and making them as members of BSNLCCWF. The CHQs of BSNLEU and BSNLCCWF will prepare the matter for printing handbills, which should be utilised for the membership drive. All the Circle and District secretaries of BSNLEU are requested to carry out this membership drive effectively.

चेन्नई सर्कल में अभूतपूर्व बारिश और बाढ़ - BSNLEU ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर कर्मचारियों को बाढ़ अग्रिम राशि देने के लिए धन आवंटन करने की मांग की है। 

दिसंबर के पहले सप्ताह में चेन्नई शहर और आसपास के जिलों में अभूतपूर्व बारिश और भयंकर बाढ़ देखी गई। बाढ़ के कारण कर्मचारियों को भारी नुकसान हुआ है। इसलिए, BSNLEU ने आज सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिखकर कर्मचारियों को बाढ़ अग्रिम राशि देने के लिए चेन्नई सर्कल के लिए धन स्वीकृत करने की मांग की है।
