At one point of time BSNL’s FTTH service was the choice of everyone. At that time, BSNL was providing better FTTH service, compared to any other private operators. During the Covid lockdown, all those who worked from home liked BSNL’s FTTH service. However, this is the story of the past. Lot of complaints are coming with regards to the speed and frequent disruption of BSNL’s FTTH service. On 27.02.2024, the FTTH vendors of Karnataka circle have organised dharna at Bangalore, demanding to find remedy to the complaints in BSNL’s FTTH service. In this background, BSNLEU has written a letter to the CMD BSNL today, demanding to take prompt action to improve BSNL’s FTTH service.

बीएसएनएल के गठन से पहले दूरसंचार विभाग द्वारा भर्ती किए गए और प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजे गए कर्मचारियों को राष्ट्रपति आदेश जारी करना।

सभी साथियों को ज्ञात है कि माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने बीएसएनएल के गठन से पहले दूरसंचार विभाग द्वारा भर्ती किए गए और प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजे गए कर्मचारियों के संबंध में 26.07.2023 को निर्णय दिया था।  माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने माननीय कैट, चंडीगढ़ के आदेश को बरकरार रखा, जिसमें कहा गया है कि इन कर्मचारियों को DoT भर्ती के रूप में माना जाना चाहिए।  हालाँकि, DoT ने माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश के आधार पर कोई कार्रवाई नहीं की।  बीएसएनएलईयू ने माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के फैसले को लागू करने की मांग करते हुए सचिव, दूरसंचार विभाग को कई पत्र लिखे हैं।  (भारत के माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय का आदेश दिनांक 26 जुलाई 2023, 2012 की सिविल अपील संख्या 1971 और बीएसएनएलईयू के पत्र दिनांक 31.07.2023, 25.10.2023 और 15.02.2024 में)।  इस संबंध में, बीएसएनएलईयू द्वारा आखिरी पत्र 15.02.2024 को सचिव, दूरसंचार विभाग को संबोधित करते हुए लिखा गया था।  इसके अगले दिन ही दूरसंचार विभाग ने माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश के कार्यान्वयन के संबंध में सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को एक पत्र जारी किया।  उस पत्र में, DoT ने कहा है कि माननीय CAT, चंडीगढ़ का फैसला केवल उन पक्षों के संबंध में लागू किया जाएगा जिन्होंने मामला दायर किया था।  बीएसएनएलईयू का सीएचक्यू दूरसंचार विभाग के इस निर्णय के बारे में उन सभी बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों को सूचित कर रहा है जिन्हें बीएसएनएल के गठन से पहले भर्ती किया गया था और प्रशिक्षण के लिए भेजा गया था।  ऊपर उल्लिखित दोनों DoT पत्रों की प्रतियां संलग्न हैं।  प्रभावित साथी जो माननीय कैट, चंडीगढ़ के दायरे में नहीं आते हैं, वे माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के आदेश का लाभ प्राप्त करने के लिए आवश्यक कानूनी कार्रवाई कर सकते हैं।

All comrades are aware that, the Hon’ble Supreme Court had given judgement on 26.07.2023, in respect of the employees recruited and sent for training by the DoT, before formation of BSNL. The Hon’ble Supreme Court upheld the order of the Hon’ble CAT, Chandigarh, wherein it is stated that these employees should be treated as DoT recruitees. However, the DoT did not take any action based on the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. BSNLEU has written many letters to the Secretary, DoT, demanding implementation of the decision of the Hon’ble Supreme Court. (BSNLEU’s letters dated 31.07.2023, 25.10.2023 and 15.02.2024). In this connection, the last letter was written by BSNLEU on 15.02.2024, addressed to the Secretary, DoT. On the next day itself, the DoT issued a letter to the CMD BSNL, regarding implementation of the Hon’ble Supreme Court order. In that letter, the DoT has stated that the Hon’ble CAT, Chandigarh judgement would be implemented only in respect of the parties who filed the case. The CHQ of BSNLEU is communicating this decision of the DoT to all the BSNL employees who were recruited and sent for training prior to the formation of BSNL. Copies of both the DoT letters mentioned above are enclosed. The affected comrades who are not covered by the Hon’ble CAT, Chandigarh, may take necessary legal action for getting the benefit of the order of the Hon’ble Supreme Court.  

वेतन वार्ता समिति की बैठक 05.03.2024 को आयोजित करने हेतु अधिसूचना जारी की गई ।

जैसा कि पहले ही बताया जा चुका है, *वेतन वार्ता समिति की बैठक 05.03.2024 को होगी।* बीएसएनएल कॉरपोरेट ऑफिस ने इस बैठक के आयोजन के लिए अधिसूचना जारी कर दी है। वेतन वार्ता समिति में BSNLEU के कर्मचारी पक्ष के सदस्यों से अनुरोध है कि वे अनिवार्य रूप से बैठक में भाग लें।

As has already been informed, a meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee will be held on 05.03.2024. The BSNL Corporate Office has issued notification for holding this meeting. BSNLEU’s Staff Side members in the Wage Negotiating Committee are requested to attend the meeting without fail.
