It is learnt that an important meeting on HR issues is scheduled to be held on 15th July between the Hon'ble Minister of State for Communications, senior officials of the Department of Telecommunications and BSNL Management. Ahead of the meeting, BSNLEU has submitted a memorandum to the Hon'ble Minister, urging the Government to take up the Pay Revision Committee (PRC) issue on priority. The union has requested the Government to relax the “Affordability Clause” to facilitate Wage Revision for BSNL employees, in line with the recommendation already made by the BSNL Board to the DoT. The Joint Secretary (Administration), DoT, CMD, BSNL and Director (HR), BSNL are expected to participate in the meeting. BSNLEU expresses the hope that they will strongly support this long-pending demand and facilitate an early and positive decision on Wage Revision.

The BSNL Coordination Committee will organise a countrywide demonstration on 16th July, 2026 at all BA/OA, demanding Wage Revision and Pension Revision, including relaxation of the Affordability Clause to facilitate the wage agreement for BSNL employees. The demonstration is part of the nationwide campaign leading to the March to Parliament on 7th August, 2026, to be organised jointly by BSNL employees and Pensioners. All Circle and District Secretaries are requested to ensure the successful conduct of the demonstrations by mobilising employees and displaying banners prominently to give wide publicity to the programme.

The BSNLEU Gujarat Circle Executive Committee meeting was successfully held on 11.07.2026 at Gulbai Tekra Exchange, Ahmedabad, under the chairmanship of Com. Milind Raval, Circle President. The meeting began with a welcome address by Com. Dipesh Rana, ACS. Com. Nirav Parmar, Circle Secretary, presented the Circle Secretary's report on the organisational activities in Gujarat Circle. As decided in the previous AUAB meeting, the AUAB submitted a memorandum to the CMD BSNL on 10th July 2026, strongly protesting the arbitrary decision of the BSNL Management to implement the Circle Restructuring through a Pilot Project in the Uttarakhand Circle. In the memorandum, the AUAB expressed its deep resentment over the so-called restructuring project and categorically demanded its immediate withdrawal. The AUAB cautioned the Management that the implementation of the project without addressing the concerns of the employees would invite strong opposition from the unions and associations. The memorandum further conveyed that, if the Management fails to withdraw the proposal immediately, the AUAB will organise nationwide demonstrations on 15th July, 2026 at all BA and CGM Offices across the country in protest against the unilateral decision.
