The Corporate Office has dissolved the existing committees constituted earlier for examining issues related to the revision of various perks and allowances and has formed a new committee to expedite the process. BSNLEU leaders met the CMD BSNL on 21.05.2026 and Director (HR) on 01.06.2026, urging the Management to take an early decision on the revision of perks and allowances. Letters were also submitted requesting immediate action. Subsequently, the Corporate Office, vide letter No. BSNLCO-A/11(11)/4/2025-ESTAB dated 02.06.2026, constituted a new committee with instructions to submit its recommendations to the higher authorities at the earliest. The committee has been specifically tasked with examining important pending issues, including medical facilities, revision of TA/DA, Superannuation Benefits, and IDA-related matters. BSNLEU hopes that the newly constituted committee will submit its recommendations quickly, enabling the Management to implement the long-pending revision of perks and allowances without further delay.

BSNLEU Kerala Circle observed World Environment Day on 5th June 2026 by organising a tree plantation programme at the GMT Office, Kozhikode. The programme was jointly inaugurated by Shri Krishnan Kumar Agarwal, GM, Kozhikode and Com. Vijayakumar, All India President, BSNLEU. Officers, staff members and representatives of SNEA, AIGETOA and SEWA BSNL also participated in the ceremony. CHQ conveys its warm greetings and appreciation to the Kerala Circle Union for successfully organising this meaningful environmental initiative.

BSNLEU submitted a letter to the Director (HR) on 01.06.2026 seeking revision of the perks and allowances of BSNL employees. During discussions with the Director (HR), it was informed that BSNL Management has already constituted a committee to review the allowances being drawn by Executive and Non-Executive employees. Subsequently, Com. Animesh Mitra, GS and Com. Ashwin Kumar, AGS, met Shri Rajeev Kaushik, PGM (SR), and Shri S.P. Singh, PGM (Estt.) and urged the Management to hold discussions with the recognised unions before finalising any proposal on the issue. A copy of the letter is attached herewith.

BSNLEU has been consistently demanding the implementation of a New Promotion Policy for Non-Executive employees. The issue was also discussed in the National Council meeting held in the month of January, 2025. Accordingly, BSNL Management constituted a committee to review the Non-Executive Promotion Policy (NEPP) vide letter No. BSNLCO-A/14(12)/4/2022-ESTAB dated 09.07.2025. Nearly one year has passed since the committee was formed. BSNLEU submitted a letter to the Director (HR) on 01.06.2026 and subsequently discussed the matter with the PGM (SR). On 05.06.2026, Com. Animesh Mitra, GS and Com. Ashwin Kumar, AGS, met Shri Rajeev Kaushik, PGM (SR). During the discussion, the PGM (SR) informed that the committee has already held meetings to review the NEPP and that the union would be consulted shortly to obtain its views. डायरेक्टर (मानव संसाधन) के आश्वासन के बावजूद, Rule-9 कर्मचारीयों के प्रति प्रशासन का उदासीन रवैया।

BSNLEU ने प्रशासन द्वारा उन Rule-9 कर्मचारीयों के मामलों पर विचार करने में हो रही लगातार देरी पर चिंता व्यक्त की है, जिन्होंने अपने होम स्टेशन पर दो साल पूरे कर लिए हैं। 02.06.2026 को जनरल सेक्रेटरी ने उत्तर प्रदेश (पूर्व) सर्किल के प्रभावित कर्मचारीयों की एक सूची सौंपी, जिसमें उनके कार्यकाल के विस्तार की मांग की गई थी। हालाँकि चर्चाओं के दौरान डायरेक्टर (मानव संसाधन) ने मामले पर सकारात्मक विचार करने का आश्वासन दिया था, लेकिन कथित तौर पर सर्किल प्रशासन को इस संबंध में कोई निर्देश जारी नहीं किए गए हैं। BSNLEU ने प्रबंधन से आग्रह किया है कि वे तत्काल हस्तक्षेप करें और प्रभावित अधिकारियों को राहत प्रदान करें। पत्र की एक प्रति इसके साथ संलग्न है।
