The Circle Executive Committee meeting of Himachal Pradesh circle is held online today. Com.Rajiv Chandel, Circle President, presided. Com.Tara Chand, Circle Secretary, welcomed everyone and explained about the important issues being faced by the employees in Himachal Pradesh circle. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, delivered the inaugural address of the meeting. In his speech, the General Secretary explained in detail about the status of the issues of Wage Revision, Stagnation, problems faced by the employees due to Restructuring and the extreme delay in the launching of BSNL’s 4G & 5G services. He also explained about the efforts being made by BSNLEU to strengthen the unity of the unions and associations in BSNL and also about the joint actions that have been launched demanding settlement of Wage Revision, 4G & 5G, New Promotion Policy, etc. The General Secretary called on the Himachal Pradesh circle union and it’s various district unions to successfully organise the One Day strike to be held on 16^th February, 2024. All the district secretaries and circle office bearers participated in the deliberations and placed their views on various issues. Finally, the General Secretary replied to the issues raised by the comrades. The meeting came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by the Circle Secretary. 

As per the call of the Coordination Committee (CoC) of BSNLEU, AIBDPA, and BSNLCCWF, Andhra Pradesh circle level Convention was organised at Vijayawada today. The Convention started with the hoisting of the Union flag by Com. P. Abhimanyu, GS. Com.K.S.C.Bose, Circle President of AIBDPA and Chairman of the CoC presided over the Convention. Com.K.Ramadevi, Circle, Secretary, BSNLEU and Convenor, CoC welcomed everyone. The inaugural address of the Convention was delivered by Com. P.Abhimanyu, GS.  In his address, the General Secretary explained about the decision of the CoC to organise massive campaign programmes against the anti-worker, anti-BSNL and pro-private policies of the government. He criticised the government for the non-settlement of wage revision, pension revision, stagnation and denial of 4G and 5G services to BSNL. The GS also announced the decision of the Central Secretariat meeting of BSNLEU to organise one day strike on 16^th February,2024, demanding immediate settlement of wage revision, expeditious launching of 4G and 5G services by BSNL and other issues. The Convention was also addressed by Com. Nageswara Rao, State President, CITU, Com.P.Asoka Babu, veteran leader, Com. A.A.Ashraf, Organising Secretary, CHQ, AIBDPA, Com.K.Prabhakar Rao, Circle Secretary, BSNLCCWF. Com.K. Ramadevi, CS, BSNLEU, explained about the importance to successfully organise the strike on 16th February. The CHQ of BSNLEU, heartily congratulates the AP comrades for organising the successful convention.

केंद्रीय सचिवालय ने i वेतन संशोधन, 4जी/5जी को तत्काल शुरू करने और अन्य ज्वलंत मुद्दों के समाधान की मांग को लेकर एक दिवसीय हड़ताल आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया है।

बीएसएनएलईयू के केंद्रीय सचिवालय की एक दिवसीय बैठक आज ऑनलाइन आयोजित की गई है। बैठक में वेतन पुनरीक्षण का निपटारा नहीं होने और इससे ठहराव की समस्या का समाधान नहीं होने पर रोष व्यक्त किया गया। बीएसएनएल की 4जी और 5जी सेवाओं की लॉन्चिंग नहीं हो रही है और हर महीने लाखों ग्राहक बीएसएनएल छोड़ रहे हैं। तथाकथित "जनशक्ति के पुनर्गठन" ने एलआईसीई में पदों की अनुपलब्धता के कारण गैर-कार्यकारियों को पदोन्नति से वंचित कर दिया है। इसके परिणामस्वरूप गैर-कार्यपालकों को नियम 8 के तहत उचित स्थानांतरण से भी वंचित कर दिया गया है। गैर-कार्यकारियों के लिए नई पदोन्नति नीति की मांग प्रबंधन के कानों तक नहीं पहुंची है। विस्तृत चर्चा के बाद, केंद्रीय सचिवालय ने सर्वसम्मति से 16 फरवरी, 2024 को इन मुद्दों पर एक दिवसीय हड़ताल आयोजित करने का निर्णय लिया। केंद्रीय सचिवालय ने सीएचक्यू, सर्कल और जिला यूनियनों से हड़ताल को सफल बनाने के लिए सर्कल और जिला स्तरीय सम्मेलनों, कर्मचारियों से मिलें कार्यक्रम और अन्य अभियानों को बड़े पैमाने पर आयोजित करने का आह्वान किया। 

The one day meeting of the Central Secretariat of BSNLEU is held online today. The meeting expressed anguish over the non-settlement of Wage Revision and thereby resolving the problem of Stagnation. BSNL’s launching of 4G and 5G services is not coming and tens of lakhs of customers are leaving BSNL every month. The so called “Restructuring of Manpower” has denied promotions to the Non-Executives, due to non-availability of posts in the LICEs. It has also resulted in denial of justified transfer under Rule 8 to the Non-Executives. The demand for a New Promotion Policy for the Non-Executives has fallen in the deaf ears of the Management. After threadbare discussions, the Central Secretariat unanimously resolved to organise a One Day Strike on these issues on 16^th February, 2024. The Central Secretariat called on the CHQ, Circle and District unions to massively organise Circle and District level Conventions, Meet the Employees programme and other campaigns to make the strike successful.
