Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri Rajiv Kumar, Director (Finance), today and discussed about the inordinate delay in the settlement of Wage Revision of the Non-Executives. The General Secretary pointed out that, the clear-cut direction given by the DoT, to the CMD BSNL, for the signing of the Wage Revision agreement and sending the same for the approval of the DoT, is not implemented. The General Secretary pointed out that a large number of employees are suffering from Stagnation and demanded that, the Wage Revision should be settled by the BSNL Management on a priority basis.

Kerala circle has written to the BSNL Corporate Office, seeking the approval for the promotion of 11 officials as AD(OL) / SDE(OL). All these 11 officials have already passed the LICE. The CHQ of BSNLEU has already written letter to the GM(Pers.) long back and has also discussed the issue. Today Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, once again met Shri S.N. Gupta, GM(Pers.) and demanded  early action on this issue.

In Himachal Pradesh circle, JAO LICE was conducted in 2016, without carrying forward the 2 unfilled posts of the previous JAO LICE conducted in the year 2012. As a result, Shri Vivek Kanwar, belonging to the SC Community, is denied of his justified promotion. BSNLEU has already written letter to the GM (Pers.) on this matter and has demanded necessary remedial action. Today, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, once again met Shri S.N. Gupta, GM(Pers.) and demanded early action on this issue.

The Gujarat circle administration has transferred Com.Anand Narayan Singh, District Secretary, Vadodara to Amreli district. This is violation of the Corporate Office instructions on “Immunity From Transfers”. BSNLEU has already written letter to the PGM(SR) on this matter. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Ms. Anita Johri today and demanded early action on this issue. The PGM(SR) replied that the Gujarat circle administration has been directed to send it’s views on this issue.
