वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे पर महासचिव ने बीएसएनएल के सीएमडी से मुलाकात की।

वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे पर सीएमडी बीएसएनएल को दो ज्ञापन पहले ही सौंपे जा चुके हैं। एक ज्ञापन BSNLEU और एनएफटीई द्वारा 06.08.2024 को प्रस्तुत किया गया था और दूसरा ज्ञापन सभी यूनियनों और एसोसिएशनों द्वारा 20.08.2024 को प्रस्तुत किया गया था। इस पृष्ठभूमि में साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव ने कल श्री ए रॉबर्ट जे रवि, सीएमडी बीएसएनएल से मुलाकात की और वेतन संशोधन मुद्दे पर चर्चा की। महासचिव ने सीएमडी बीएसएनएल से अनुरोध किया कि वे यह सुनिश्चित करें कि नोन एक्ज़िक्यूटिव्स की वेतन संशोधन वार्ता में उत्पन्न गतिरोध को दूर किया जाए ताकि वेतन संशोधन समझौते पर जल्द से जल्द हस्ताक्षर किए जा सकें। सीएमडी बीएसएनएल ने आश्वासन दिया कि इस मामले पर विचार किया जाएगा।

On the Wage Revision issue, two memorandums are already submitted to the CMD BSNL. One memorandum was submitted by BSNLEU and NFTE on 06.08.2024 and another memorandum was submitted by all unions and associations on 20.08.2024. In this backdrop, Com.P. Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri A. Robert J. Ravi, CMD BSNL, yesterday, and discussed the Wage Revision issue. The General Secretary requested the CMD BSNL to ensure that the deadlock created in the Wage Revision talks of Non-Executives is removed, so that the Wage Revision agreement could be signed at the earliest. The CMD BSNL assured that this matter would be looked into.

Yesterday, BSNLEU has written a detailed letter to the Director (HR), wherein various details related to the Wage Revision are elaborately discussed. In this backdrop, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani, today and requested to take steps for the early resumption of the Wage Negotiation talks. The General Secretary strongly demanded that the pay scales of the Non-Executives already finalised in the Wage Revision Committee meeting, held on 27.07.2018 should be implemented by the Management. The Director (HR) assured that this issue would be taken up with the members of the Management Side of the Wage Negotiating Committee.

Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri R.K. Goyal, Chairman of the Wage Negotiating Committee, today and demanded that meeting of the Wage Negotiating Committee should be conducted as early as possible. The General Secretary also requested the Chairman to reconsider the Management’s decision to implement shorter pay scales for the Non-Executives. He pointed out that the 3rd PRC has recommended long pay scales having up to 42 spans and asked why the Management wants to implement shorter pay scales for the Non-Executives. He appealed to the Chairman, to remove the deadlock by accepting the pay scales already finalised in the Wage Negotiating Committee meeting held on 27.07.2018.
