BSNLEU, पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल ने रजत जयंती समारोह के हिस्से के तौर पर ट्रेड यूनियन क्लास का आयोजन किया।

रजत जयंती समारोह कार्यक्रम के सिलसिले में, BSNLEU, पश्चिम बंगाल सर्कल ने 21.05.2026 को सीटीओ बिल्डिंग में "देश के स्वतंत्रता संग्राम में श्रमिक वर्ग की भूमिका" विषय पर एक ट्रेड यूनियन क्लास का आयोजन किया। इस सत्र के मुख्य वक्ता CITU, पश्चिम बंगाल के उपाध्यक्ष साथी  सोमनाथ भट्टाचार्य थे। उन्होंने ब्रिटिश शासन के दौरान ट्रेड यूनियन आंदोलन और श्रमिक वर्ग द्वारा निभाई गई भूमिका के बारे में विस्तार से बताया। देश की मौजूदा स्थिति को देखते हुए, उन्होंने श्रमिक वर्ग के अधिकारों और वर्गीय हितों की रक्षा के लिए उनके बीच सांप्रदायिक सद्भाव और वैचारिक एकता को मजबूत करने की आवश्यकता पर भी जोर दिया। शुरुआत में, सर्कल सचिव साथी  सुजॉय सरकार ने इस तरह की ट्रेड यूनियन क्लास आयोजित करने के महत्व के बारे में बताया। यह सत्र सर्कल पदाधिकारियों और जिला सचिवों के लिए बेहद ज्ञानवर्धक साबित हुआ, जिन्होंने राज्य भर के विभिन्न जिलों और कस्बों से इसमें हिस्सा लिया था। AIBDPA के सर्कल सचिव साथी  आशीष दास और BSNLCMU के सर्कल सचिव साथी  तापस घोष ने भी सभा को संबोधित किया। इस कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता सर्कल यूनियन के अध्यक्ष साथी  इमरान खान ने की।

BSNLEU ने पोर्ट ब्लेयर में 8वां सर्कल सम्मेलन आयोजित किया।

BSNLEU, अंडमान और निकोबार सर्कल का 8वां सर्कल सम्मेलन 24 मई, 2026 को पोर्ट ब्लेयर के सन सी रिज़ॉर्ट में आयोजित किया गया। साथी  एम. विजयकुमार, अखिल भारतीय अध्यक्ष ने सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया और बीएसएनएल कर्मचारियों के सामने आने वाली चुनौतियों पर सभा को संबोधित किया, जिसमें वेतन संशोधन का लंबित होना और निजीकरण की नीतियों से उत्पन्न मुद्दे शामिल थे। प्रतिनिधि सत्र के दौरान, रिपोर्ट और ऑडिट किए गए खाते प्रस्तुत किए गए और सर्वसम्मति से स्वीकार किए गए। कर्मचारियों की मांगों पर प्रस्ताव भी पारित किए गए। एक नई सर्कल समिति का चुनाव किया गया, जिसमें साथी  एम. राजेंद्रन को अध्यक्ष, साथी  एस.पी. कलैराजन को सर्कल सचिव और साथी  अब्दुल अज़ीज़ को कोषाध्यक्ष चुना गया। खुले सत्र में, श्री वी.एस. इलंतिराई, आइटीएस, सीजीएम, A&N टेलीकॉम सर्कल ने कर्मचारियों की मांगों पर विचार करने का आश्वासन दिया और दूरसंचार विकास तथा कर्मचारियों के कल्याण पर ज़ोर दिया। श्री बी. चंद्रचूड़न, महासचिव, CITU राज्य समिति, और कई बीएसएनएल अधिकारियों तथा ट्रेड यूनियन नेताओं ने भी सम्मेलन को संबोधित किया। सम्मेलन का समापन नव-निर्वाचित सर्कल सचिव साथी  एस.पी. कलैराजन द्वारा धन्यवाद प्रस्ताव के साथ हुआ। विभिन्न बाहरी केंद्रों से सदस्यों ने इस कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।

The 8^th Circle Conference of the BSNLEU, Andaman & Nicobar Circle, was held at Sun Sea Resort, Port Blair, on 24^th May, 2026. Com. M. Vijayakumar, All India President, inaugurated the conference and addressed the gathering on the challenges faced by BSNL employees, including pending wage revision and issues arising from privatisation policies. During the delegate session, reports and audited accounts were presented and adopted unanimously. Resolutions on employees’ demands were also passed. A new Circle Committee was elected with Com. M. Rajendran as President, Com. S.P. Kalairajan as Circle Secretary and Com. Abdul Aziz as Treasurer. In the Open Session, Shri V.S. Ilanthirai, ITS, CGM, A&N Telecom Circle, assured consideration of employees’ demands and emphasised telecom development and staff welfare. Shri B. Chandrachoodan, General Secretary, CITU State Committee, and several BSNL officers and trade union leaders also addressed the conference. The conference concluded with a vote of thanks by newly elected Circle Secretary Com. S.P. Kalairajan. Members from various outstations participated in the event.

The Corporate Office has issued order yesterday the 22^nd May, 2026 for the payment of IDA increase from 236.7% to 238.3% w.e.f. 01.04.2026. A copy of the Corporate Office order is enclosed.

In connection with the Silver Jubilee Celebration programme, BSNLEU, West Bengal Circle organised a trade union class on the topic “Role of the Working Class in the Freedom Struggle of the Country” at CTO Building on 21.05.2026. Com. Somnath Bhattacharya, Vice President, CITU, West Bengal, was the main speaker for the session. He elaborately explained the role played by the trade union movement and the working class during British rule. Considering the present situation in the country, he also emphasised the need to strengthen communal harmony and ideological unity among the working class to safeguard their right and class interests. At the outset, Com. Sujoy Sarkar, Circle Secretary, explained the importance for conducting such type of trade union classes. The session turned out to be highly educative for the circle office bearers and district secretaries who participated from different districts and towns across the state. Com. Asish Das, Circle Secretary, AIBDPA and Com. Tapas Gosh, Circle Secretary, BSNLCMU, also addressed the gathering. The programme was presided over by Com. Imran Khan, President of the Circle Union.
