Due to the serious efforts taken by BSNLEU, the Group Term Insurance (GTI) has been implemented to the Non-Executives also. The sum assured under the GTI for the Non-Executives, is Rs.20 lakh and the premium amount to those born before 15.09.1972 is Rs.18,172/- and the premium amount for those who are born after 15.09.1972 is Rs.3,776/-. In the case of Executives the sum assured under their GTI is Rs.50 lakh. The premium amount to those who are born before 15.09.1972 is Rs.45,430/- and the premium amount for those who are born after 15.09.1972 is Rs.12,980/-. Under these circumstances, some of the Non-Executives desire to join the GTI with Rs.50 lakh as the sum assured. They are willing to pay the higher premium amount.  Hence, BSNLEU has written to the Director (HR), demanding that those Non-Executives, who are willing to join the GTI with the higher sum assured, should be allowed to do so.

टीटी एलआईसीई के लिए 50% डीआर कोटा पदों का डायवर्जन - BSNLEU ने प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (Estt.) के साथ चर्चा की।

BSNLEU मांग कर रहा है कि टेलीकॉम टेक्नीशियन के कैडर के 50% सीधी भर्ती कोटा पदों को भी आगामी टीटी एलआईसीई में डायवर्ट किया जाए। ऐसा इसलिए है, क्योंकि आगामी टीटी एलआईसीई में 14 सर्किलों में कोई रिक्त पद नहीं हैं। BSNLEU इस मांग पर जोर देते हुए पहले ही सीएमडी, बीएसएनएल को पत्र लिख चुका है।  कल, साथी पी. अभिमन्यु, महासचिव, श्री सौरभ त्यागी, प्रिंसिपल जनरल मैनेजर (Estt.) से मिले और इस पत्र की एक प्रति सौंपी और प्रबंधन द्वारा शीघ्र कार्रवाई की मांग की।

A meeting of the Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF will be held online at 15:00 hrs. on 18.02.2023. The meeting will discuss and take decisions about organising campaign among employees and the general public, to popularise the charter of demands for the Mazdoor Kisan Rally to be held at New Delhi on 05.04.2023.

The CEC meeting of BSNLEU, held online on 04.02.2023, unanimously decided to massively participate in the Mazdoor Kisan Rally, to be organised at New Delhi on 05^th April, 2023. The CEC meeting also decided to organise effective campaign among the employees and also among the general public, on the demands for the Mazdoor Kisan Rally. In this connection, the All India Centre meeting held online yesterday the 13.02.2023, has taken the following decisions:-

1. To mobilise maximum number of comrades in the Mazdoor Kisan Rally.  
2. To organise District General Body meetings on 24.02.2023, to explain about the charter of demands for the Mazdoor Kisan Rally. The CHQ will send a note to be reported in the DGB meetings.
3. To organise demonstrations and gate meetings on 10.03.2023.
4. To organise Meet the Employees Campaign from 13.03.2023 to 18.03.2023.
5. To organise street corner meetings on 27^th, 28^th, 29^th & 31^st March, 2023.
6. CHQ will print posters in Hindi and English, carrying the charter of demands for the Mazdoor Kisan Rally.

All the circle and district unions are requested to take all out efforts to make the above mentioned campaigns successful.

BSNLEU is demanding that, the 50% Direct Recruitment quota posts of the cadre of Telecom Technician, should also be diverted to the forthcoming TT LICE. This is because, there are no vacancies in 14 circles in the forthcoming TT LICE. BSNLEU has already written a letter to the CMD BSNL, insisting upon this demand. Yesterday, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri Saurabh Tyagi, PGM(Estt.) and handed over a copy of this letter and demanded early action by the Management.
