The 15th Congress of the Trade Union International (Transport & Communications) got successfully concluded today. Earlier, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, addressed the Congress. He spoke on the crisis of the capitalist system, as a result of which increased workload, wage freezing, pension cut, as well as attacks on trade union rights are being imposed on the working class in India and other parts of the world. At the end of the Congress, Com.Ali Riza of Turkey and Com.Mathiew of France are elected as President and General Secretary unanimously. An eight member Secretariat and a twenty four member Executive Committee were also elected unanimously. 

Dr.Kalyan Sagar Nippani is already selected for the post of Director(HR), BSNL. However, there has been delay in the issuing of order by the Government. After much delay, order has been issued, appointing Dr.Kalyan Sagar Nippani as the new Director(HR) of BSNL. BSNLEU heartily congratulates, Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani. 

ट्रेड यूनियन इंटरनेशनल (परिवहन एवं संचार) की 15वीं कांग्रेस आज एथेंस में शुरू हुई।

टीयूआई ट्रांसपोर्ट एंड कम्युनिकेशंस, वर्ल्ड फेडरेशन ऑफ ट्रेड यूनियंस (डब्ल्यूएफटीयू) का एक हिस्सा है। इस टीयूआई ट्रांसपोर्ट एंड कम्युनिकेशंस की 15वीं कांग्रेस आज ग्रीस के एथेंस में शुरू हुई। यह कांग्रेस आज और कल होगी।  इस कांग्रेस में BSNLEU के महासचिव साथी पी. अभिमन्यु एक प्रतिनिधि के रूप में भाग ले रहे हैं। शुरुआत में, कांग्रेस ने फिलिस्तीनियों के साथ और इजरायली आक्रामकता के खिलाफ अपनी एकजुटता व्यक्त करते हुए एक संक्षिप्त कार्यक्रम आयोजित किया। अध्यक्ष पद के चुनाव के बाद कांग्रेस की औपचारिक शुरुआत हुई। आज की कार्यवाही के लिए साथी पी. अभिमन्यु को अध्यक्ष पद के लिए चुना गया है। डब्ल्यूएफटीयू के अध्यक्ष साथी माइकल मकवेइबा ने कांग्रेस का उद्घाटन किया। टीयूआई परिवहन और संचार के महासचिव साथी अली रिज़ा कुचुकोस मोनाग्लू ने गतिविधियों पर रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की। इसके बाद प्रतिनिधियों द्वारा विचार-विमर्श शुरू हुआ और जारी है। ग्रीस के सक्रिय ट्रेड यूनियन पीएएमई ने इस कांग्रेस के लिए बेहतरीन व्यवस्था की है।

The TUI Transport and Communications, is a part of the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU). The 15^th Congress of this TUI Transport & Communications started at Athens in Greece today. This Congress will be held today and tomorrow. Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, BSNLEU is participating in this Congress as a delegate. At the outset, the Congress conducted a brief programme, expressing its solidarity with Palestinians and against Israeli aggression. The Congress formally started after electing the presidium. Com.P.Abhimanyu is elected to the presidium for today’s proceedings. Com. Michael Makwayiba, President, WFTU, inaugurated the Congress. Com. Ali Riza Kuchukos Monaglu, General Secretary of the TUI Transport and Communications presented the report on activities. Thereafter, deliberations by the delegates started and is going on. PAME, the militant trade union of Greece has made excellent arrangements for this Congress.

Shri Nitin Jain, the CGM of ALTTC has been transferred from ALTTC and is posted in J&K circle. This letter of the DoT is issued today the 18.11.2023, which is not a working day for the DoT. Thus, it becomes clear that the transfer of the CGM, ALTTC, has been done on an emergency basis. What is the reason? It is because the CGM, ALTTC, has written letter to the Director (HR), against the taking over of the ALTTC campus by the DoT. The DoT has directed CMD BSNL to relieve Shri Nitin Jain from the post of CGM, ALTTC, immediately. The DoT is taking over the ALTTC campus against the decision of the Cabinet of government of India. It does not want anyone to even speak against it’s decision.
