Revision of Perks and Allowances – BSNLEU urges immediate discussion.
BSNLEU has once again urged the Management to immediately convene discussions with the recognised unions and associations on the revision of perks and allowances for non-executive employees. A committee for this purpose was constituted in 2025, following the decision of the 40th National Council Meeting held on 13.01.2025, under the chairmanship of the PGM (Estt.). In the Wage Agreement Meeting held on 08.10.2025, the Management informed that the matter was under active consideration. The issue was later discussed by BSNLEU with the Director (HR) and further inputs from the PGM (Estt.) confirm that the committee has already started functioning, with items for consideration also notified by the Establishment Section. Despite this progress, no discussion has yet been held with the recognised unions and associations. BSNLEU has strongly emphasised that such a meeting is essential to place the views and demands of the Non-Executive employees. The union has therefore once again demanded that the Management hold the meeting at the earliest and ensure meaningful consultation on this important issue.
