Memorandum on National Protest Day Submitted to CMD, BSNL – Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, Highlights the Burning Issues of Non-Executives.

As part of the National Protest Day programme, a massive demonstration was organised in New Delhi by the employees of the BSNL Corporate Office and NTR Circle at Eastern Court. The demonstration was addressed by Com. Animesh Mitra, General Secretary, who highlighted the burning issues of the non-executive employees and strongly urged the BSNL Management to resolve their long-pending demands without further delay. He emphasised that the genuine concerns of the employees must be addressed promptly to safeguard their interests and strengthen the organisation. The gathering was also addressed by Com. John Verghese, AGS, Com. N.K. Nalawade, President, Com. Pankaj Atri, President, Corporate Office Circle, and Com. Jogesh, President, NTR Circle. In their speeches, they called upon the employees to remain united and intensify the struggle until the charter of demands is settled. At the conclusion of the demonstration, the memorandum addressed to the CMD, BSNL was formally submitted to the GM Admn, CO and the GM, NTR by the leaders of the Corporate Office and NTR Circle unions.
