Enthusiastic response to countrywide demonstration on demanding the relaxation of Affordability Clause.

The BSNL Coordination Committee today organised a countrywide demonstration at the BA/OA level demanding the relaxation of the Affordability Clause to facilitate the implementation of the Wage Agreement for BSNL employees. The programme also served as part of the campaign for the March to Parliament on 7th August, 2026. CHQ has received encouraging reports from various circles highlighting the enthusiastic participation of employees, pensioners, casual labourers and contract workers. The demonstrations strongly projected the demands for relaxation of the Affordability Clause, implementation of the Wage Agreement, Pension Revision on IDA pay scales, and implementation of minimum wages for contract workers. The BSNL Coordination Committee of BSNLEU, AIBDPA and BSNLCCWF extends its warm greetings and Red Salutes to all the leaders, activists and participants who made today's programme a grand success.
