Double-talk erodes the credibility of the Management – BSNLEU records it’s dissent over the minutes of the Formal Meeting..
There was a Formal Meeting between BSNLEU and the Director(HR) on 19-03-2024. Agenda items for this meeting were submitted by BSNLEU one month before the meeting. In the formal meeting, the Director(HR) gave positive reply for many of the agenda items. However, in the minutes of the meeting, the replies given by the Director(HR) were missing. Instead, some other replies, based on after-thoughts, have been recorded. BSNLEU demanded corrections for this minutes. However, the final minutes was issued, ignoring BSNLEU’s letter. Hence, BSNLEU has written a letter to the Director (HR) today, expressing its disappointment and dissent over this matter. In the letter, BSNLEU has told that the practice of “telling something in the meeting and recording something else in the minutes” erodes the credibility of the Management and hence this practice should be given up in future meetings.
