Women in Kerala create history by forming 620 km long human wall.

The women of Kerala formed a historic 620 km. long human wall yesterday, opposing discrimination against women. The women’s wall was formed from Kasaragod in the North, up to Thiruvananthapuram in the South. The women’s wall was joined by various organizations, demanding equality to women. It is reported that around 50 lakh women participated in this human wall. At a time when fundamentalist forces are trying to take Kerala to the dark age, this movement by Kerala women is really praiseworthy.
