Wage Revision Agreement - General Secretary meets CMD BSNL and requests for early action by the Management..
As regards Wage Revision, all our comrades are aware that both the Recognised Unions have raised 3 important demands before the Management. They are:-
- Increasing the minimum and maximum of NE3, NE8, NE9 and NE10 pay scales.
- Implementing a minimum Fitment of 5%.
- The shorter pay scales implemented in this Wage Revision should not become the basis for the next Wage Revision.
In the formal meeting of BSNLEU, held with the Director(HR) on 16-07-2025, we raised this issue and enquired about current status. The Director(HR) replied that the financial implications for the Implementing the 3 demands raised by the Recognised Unions have been worked out and they are waiting for the approval of the top Management.
Under these circumstances, yesterday, Com.P.Abhimanyu, General Secretary, met the CMD BSNL and requested him to expeditiously consider the proposals for accepting the 3 demands raised by the Recognised Unions. The CMD BSNL assured to take needful action quickly. At this stage, some mischievous elements are spreading rumours about Wage Revision to confuse the employees. Comrades are requested not to believe those rumours. We expect to sign the Wage Revision agreement soon.
