Wage Revision – informal discussion held on 09.01.2025, between the Staff Side and the Management Side – claims of live cases of stagnation verified..

In the last Wage Revision Committee meeting held on 19.12.2024, it was agreed by both the Management Side and the Staff Side that, the Staff Side would give fresh live cases of stagnation, based on 5% fitment. It was also decided that, soon after submitting the live cases, there would be an informal discussion between the Staff Side and the Management Side, to verify whether the live cases submitted by the Staff Side are correct or not. Based on this, on 23.12.2024 itself, BSNLEU submitted 90 live cases of stagnation based on 5% fitment. Thereafter, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met the PGM(SR) on 09.01.2025 and insisted for the informal discussion to verify the claims for live cases of stagnation. As a result, the informal discussion was arranged on that day itself. From the Management Side, the DGM(SR) and AGM (Estt.) were present. On behalf of BSNLEU, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, presented the live cases of stagnation to the Management. In the discussion, it was proved that, the live stagnation cases submitted by BSNLEU are all genuine. As the next step, meeting of the Joint Committee for Wage Revision will be held and the Staff Side will demand for modification of the pay scales to avoid the stagnations, as submitted by BSNLEU.
