VRS is government's strategy to stop BSNL's revival.

The Unions and Associations of BSNL are demanding the government to approve BSNL’s Land Management Policy, since the revenue generated through the monetisation of BSNL’s vacant lands can be funded for the development and revival of the Company. But, now, the government has decided to ringfence the proceedings from the monetisation of BSNL’s vacant lands, for funding the VRS. This is a well thought of plan, to deprive BSNL of the funds needed for it’s development and financial revival.
