The crisis in JTO LICE – efforts taken by BSNLEU.

The problem has arisen because, thousands of posts were abolished in the name of Restructuring. When Management gave it’s proposals on Restructuring to the Recognised Unions, BSNLEU rejected it. BSNLEU has submitted alternative proposals, giving detailed justification for the posts of JTO, JAO, JE, Sr.TOA, TT and ATT, vide letter no. BSNLEU/503 (CDR) dated 27.07.2021. The issue was discussed many times with the CMD BSNL and Director (HR). But they did not accept our demand. Insisting to accept our proposals, BSNLEU had organised demonstrations, black-badge wearing demonstrations, submitting memorandum to the GMs and CGMs, etc. BSNLEU has fought on this issue for the past 6 / 7 months.
