By enacting the CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act) the ruling BJP has made an assault on the secular character of our Constitution. Why the CAA is enacted? After enacting the CAA, in which direction the government will proceed and what is it’s ultimate goal? Today’s meeting of the Union Cabinet has decided to create the NPR (National Population Register). The next step is creating NRC (National Register of Citizens).
