Tamilnadu contract workers get payment wage arrears, as per the order of the Hon’ble Madras High Court.

We have already informed that, the Tamil Nadu comrades have approached the Hon’ble Madras High Court, for the redressal of their grievance of non-payment of contract workers' wages for more than a year. The Hon’ble Court has already directed the BSNL Management to make payment of a minimum amount before Deepawali. Accordingly, the contract workers have received payment of wage arrears ranging from Rs.10,000/- to Rs.40,000/-. Nearly 2100 contract workers are benefited due to this.
