Supreme Court stayed sale of Aircle's 2G spectrum.

The Supreme Court has stayed the sale of it’s 2G spectrum by Aircel. This company is presently owned by Malaysian business tycoon, T. Ananda Krishnan. A Delhi trial court is already hearing the accusation that, Dayanidhi Maran favoured T. Ananda Krishnan to take over Aircel from it’s promoter C. Sivasankaran. In return, T. Ananda Krishnan had invested Rs.600/- crore in the TV channel owned by Dayanidhi Maran’s family.
