Stoppage of deductions for LIC and PLI – General Secretary, BSNLEU, discusses with the GM (CA & ERP).

Corporate Office issued letter on 06.01.2022, for the stoppage of deductions from the salaries of employees, in respect of society, co-operative stores, LIC, PLI and clubs. Immediately, BSNLEU wrote to the CMD BSNL on 13.01.2022, explaining the justifications for continuing with the deductions. As a result of the efforts taken by BSNLEU, deductions for society, co-operative stores and clubs are not stopped. However, deductions for LIC and PLI are stopped. Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, discussed this issue with Shri Surajit Mandol, GM(CA & ERP), on 21.04.2022 and urged upon him for the continuation of LIC and PLI deductions. The GM(CA & ERP) assured to review the decision.
