Status of district unions and Local Councils should continue even after Consolidation of SSAs into Business Areas - BSNLEU urges upon the GM(SR).

With regards to the Consolidation of SSAs into Business Areas, Com.P.Abhimanyu, GS, met Shri A.M.Gupta, GM(SR), yesterday, and demanded that ‘status-quo’ should be maintained in respect of the existing district unions and Local Councils. He demanded that the present set-up of district unions and Local Councils should continue even after the Consolidation of SSAs into Business Areas. The GM(SR) assured to look into the matter and to do the needful.
