Software upgradation for doing pension revision to the retired Sr.TOAs of Maharashtra circle - BSNLEU writes to the Controller General of Communication Accounts, New Delhi.

Due to the wrong interpretation given by the CCA, Maharashtra & Goa circle, a good number of retired Sr.TOAs suffered loss in pension. The CCA argued that the Sr.TOAs, on promotion under OTBP, should have been given 6550 pay scale and not 7100 pay scale. This issue was taken up by the CHQ of BSNLEU and has already been settled. However, pension re-fixation has not yet been done to the above mentioned pensioners. It is being stated that the present software does not support revision of pension.  Hence, BSNLEU has written to the Controller General of Communication Accounts at New Delhi, requesting him to ensure necessary software upgradation to solve this problem.
