Sit-in-protest programme organised in CGM, Tamil Nadu circle office, at Chennai.

The CGM of Tamil Nadu circle, who is also holding the additional charge of CGM Chennai Telephones circle, is ignoring the recognised unions and has imposed many restrictions in meeting the representatives of the recognised unions. The services of BSNL in Tamil Nadu circle and Chennai Telephones circle have gone to the dogs. The CGM is only interested in imposing restrictions in the functioning of the recognised trade unions and he is least bothered about improvement of quality of services. This issue has been discussed many times with the CMD BSNL and the Director(HR). Many assurances have been given by the top management, but nothing is being implemented by the CGM. Hence, a sit-in-protest programme was organised in the CGM, Tamil Nadu circle office at Chennai yesterday the 19-08-2025. A large number of comrades from Tamil Nadu and Chennai Telephones circles, participated in this programme. Com K.Natarajan ACS, NFTE BSNL, presided over the protest.  Com.S.Chellappa, AGS, BSNLEU, Com.M.Sridhara Subramanian CS BSNLEU CHTD, Com.B.Marimuthu, CS, BSNLEU, TN, Com.Sridhar, National Secretary, NFTE BSNL, Com.Kulandhainathan, CS, NFTE BSNL, Com.Krishnan, Circle President TEPU, Com.A.Babu Radhakrishnan, AGS, BSNL CCWF and the leaders of AIBDPA and AIBSNLPEWA addressed the meeting.
