Shri Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India and a great proponent of secularism, passes away.

Shri Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India, passed away yesterday. He has been admitted in the Army Referral hospital at New Delhi for the past few weeks. Shri Pranab Mukherjee has also held the Finance, Defence and Foreign Affairs portfolios in the Union Cabinet. Shri Pranab Mukherjee represented the secular and democratic forces in the Indian politics and stood for the concept of unity in diversity. In the death of Shri Pranab Mukherjee, the nation has lost a great statesman.
