Shri Nripendra Misra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, leaves the PMO - Revival plan of BSNL becomes a question mark ?

Shri Nripendra Misra, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister, has resigned all of a sudden. As per media reports, Shri Nripendra Misra has resigned and that the Prime Minister has requested him to continue for two weeks. It may be recollected that the matters related to the revival of BSNL, were being dealt with at the highest level, by Shri Nripendra Misra. Now, since he has resigned, the decisions taken at his level, for the revival of BSNL have also become uncertain.  Soon after Shri Narendra Modi becoming Prime Minister in 2014, Shri Nripendra Misra became his Principal Secretary. Now, after Shri Narendra Modi becoming Prime Minister for the second time, the sudden resignation of Shri Nripendra Misra has raised many questions.  It is important to note that, Shri Nripendra Misra was former Secretary, Telecom, as well as the Chairman of the TRAI..
