Request for transfer on spouse ground and on Rule-8 – BSNLEU writes letter to the Director (HR), requesting for one time settlement..

Junior Engineers who have applied for transfer under spouse ground and also on Rule-8, to the circles declared as “surplus circles”, are not getting transfers for the past many years. The situation in the “surplus circles” is not going to change in the near future and the Junior Engineers who have applied for transfers to those “surplus circles” are not going to get their transfers settled. BSNLEU is repeatedly writing letters to the Management demanding implementation of the DoP&T orders, regarding posting husband and wife in the same station. BSNLEU has also written letters to the Management demanding to find out ways and means to settle the transfer requests of the Junior Engineers to the “surplus circles”. Today, BSNLEU has written a detailed letter to the Director (HR), requesting him to find a one time settlement to this issue. In this connection, BSNLEU has also given the suggestion that the officials can be transferred together with the post.
