Request for cancellation of reversion order - CHQ writes to Management in the case of Shri Anurag Singh, JE, Mehsana SSA, Gujarat circle.

Shri Anurag Singh, presently working as JE in Mehsana SSA, Gujarat Circle, was earlier promoted from JE to JTO and posted at Chennai Telephones. Owing to serious family problems, he sought and was granted reversion from the JTO cadre to the JE cadre in January 2024. Subsequently, the official realised that the reversion was taken as a sudden decision, which has been causing him mental stress and further family hardship. Accordingly, he has submitted a fresh request to the Management seeking cancellation of the reversion order and has expressed his willingness to accept the promotion to JTO and join at Chennai Telephones. On receipt of the representation from the Circle Union, the CHQ has taken up the matter and addressed a letter to the Director (HR), BSNL, requesting reconsideration of the case on humanitarian grounds and appropriate action in the interest of the official.
